Tranquil riverside property

Our enchanting 6 bedroomed house is situated next to the Creuse river and is in the centre region of France. It offers well equipped accomodation which sleeps 12 comfortably but can sleep 14 with use of the sofa bed in the office. Our house is an ideal holiday base for exploring central France or for just staying at home, with the river, the heated pool and plenty of walks all around. The airport of Limoges is just under an hour away with direct flights from the UK and most of Europe. It is 7 hours from Calais, 5 hours from Caen and St.Malo. Situated in a small hamlet, less than 15 minutes from junction 19, off autoroute A20 the site is a short drive from Argenton -sur-Creuse, Eguzon /Lac Chambon and the Brenne National Park.The accomodation comprises of a kitchen, laundry room, fridge/freezer room, store, open plan lounge/dining area, kitchen with gas cooker/hob and dishwasher. Master bedroom with Super King bed, ensuite bathroom, private balcony and river views. Garden bedroom, double bed, ensuite bathroom and private garden access, 2 further double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. 2 double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Enclosed in ground heated swimming pool and deck area. Front garden, patio seating area, outside dining area, table seats 20, BBQ and garden furniture, meadow and wood. Stunning Location
Gorgeous property in an absolutely beautiful location. Perfect for a get away from it all holiday. The house has has everything you could think of, provided for you, so all you have to do is turn up, and relax. All the bedrooms are a great double (or larger) size, which meant we didn't have the usual arguments over who got the "best" rooms, all are excellent. Lovely dining area, which actually has enough seating for your large group to sit comfortably round the table. Swimming area is great, nice and secluded, but a glorious suntrap! The location is out of this world, set next to river, where we spent hours relaxing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Would definitely recommend for a calming, relaxing holiday. Sam was lovely in her communication, making sure all was ok, and arrived all right. Other than that, we didn't really have the need to contact her, as everything we needed was provided for in the property.

Family get together
A family group from 71 yrs to 22 months - we all enjoyed our stay and for a few nights easily managed to fit 13 people into the house as we had people coming and going. We used the BBQ every night and the pool at least twice a day! The pool was a bit green when we arrived but Stuart came several times over the first few days and it was soon sparkling blue. Plenty of hot water for showers. Beautiful setting by the river & good walks around for some. Biking not the easiest but fine! Supermarket 10 mins away towards Argenton and boulangerie in Le Menoux 5 mins away. Great holiday.

Beautiful, perfect for our large, extended family. The photos really don't do it justice!
I have just spent a fabulous week here with my extended family. From my 4 year old daughter to my 93 year old grandfather, all 10 of us had a wonderful holiday. There was a downstairs bedroom (with ensuite) that worked well for my grandfather. The house was extremely well equiped with everything you might possibly need. The beds were lovely with fabulous quality mattresses and bedding. We spent the majority of our week around the heated pool. The pool furniture was also good. My brother, a keen carp fisherman caught some beauties from the river just outside the front door! The grounds are a bit wild but stunning. Loads of space to explore. Karen did a fabulous job of cleaning before we qent in. Stuart the pool chap was great too. Brilliant communication from Sam the owner who was very attentive to our needs Ive never written a review before but we had such a fabulous week and all of us felt that the pictures massively sold the property short so a 5* review comes from all of us.

Superbe propriété
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette très belle maison. Quelques petites choses à revoir, chasses d'eau qui fuient en permanence, pas de parasol, au niveau de la vaisselle, casseroles et poêles en mauvais état. Peut être serait il aussi judicieux de présicer les dates d'ouverture de la piscine dans l'annonce. Merci à Sam pour sa disponibilité par mail.

La maison est magnifique, bien plus jolie que sur les photos!
Les draps et serviettes étaient fournies y compris pour la piscine ce qui est un vrai confort ! Chaque chambre dispose d’une salle de bain, tres pratique lorsque nous sommes 10 ! Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la maison que nous avons trouvée encore mieux que sur les photos. De plus elle est parfaitement équipée (transat pour la piscine, barbecue, four, 2 frigos, machine à laver, table à la piscine + deux tables dans le jardin devant la maison, Une des tables extérieurs est sous une tonnelle; du savon est disponible dans l’ensemble des pièces avec un point d’eau, table lave vaisselle, lessive, papier toilettes, aluminium ect étaient libres d’accès à notre arrivée). Sam était très réactif à mes demandes par mails, et nous avons ou intégrer les lieux plus tôt que ce qui était indiqué, merci encore ! A noter, nous n’avions aucun réseau téléphone dans l’ensemble de la maison (une boxe wifi est disponible dans la maison ce qui permet d’avoir internet). Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour en famille, merci encore !
