A nice, modern comfortable hotel - what you would expect of a Hilton.
Located 10 minutes from the middle of town, you definitely need to have a rental car - Good news is they offer free parking.
There is a water taxi into town that leaves directly from the hotel - $10 per person each way.
There is also a free shuttle service run by the hotel that leaves every hour - but you need to book well in advance.
While i was there i discovered a fantastic lake front path that stretches over 10 kms around the lake to the golf course - perfect for a walk or a run!

Stayed for 2 nights. Staff were excellent, very pleasant, helpful, couldn't do enough for you. Lovely warm atmosphere in the main entrance and reception area. Beautiful views from the room. What a sight to wake up to!
As a 'treat night' to myself on my first trip to Queenstown this was the perfect hotel! It was affordable but felt extremely luxurious (and comfortable) at the same time.
Every single staff member I came across were absolutely wonderful and helpful.
This is definitely where I would stay again.
We booked a lakeside view 2 bedroom suite and we were on the ground floor, the views were fantastic even though there was obstruction from the trees. The room was spacious and very quiet. Our favourite was to put the gas fired log fire on as it gave the room great warmth. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included buffet continental breakfast was adequate with a good selection of choices although the dining room was rather small. I will come back to this hotel as it it is an easy 5 minute walk to the Queenstown centre and was excellent value.
