Queenstown 5 Star Hotels

Had a fabulous time in Queenstown area. Scenery is extraordinary. Milford Sound is a must especially if you drive there and stay over at the lodge take an early morning cruise and drive back the next day. Lots of places to stop and admire God's handiwork. Shotover jet boat is a must. Take a drive to Arrowtown. Take a drive to Glenorchy. Gondola ride is a must and all the cafés in town....and on and on.

This place is un real, definitely something off of a post card. I could hardly believe somewhere so amazing even existed, but it does.The surrounds are so picturesque I didn't want to leave. The service is amazing, the accomodation is WOW and everything was just beautiful, nothing at all to complain about as our every need was catered for.

Central to everything, quiet and well maintained.

Easy to get around due to location of hotel to Queenstowns main centre. Rooms were very well appointed - with TV over the bath and nespresso machines in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were large and comfortable. We would of loved to stay extra nights!

The hotel was excellent. Close to restaurants and attractions. Very good breakfast. Good laundry facilities. Free underground parking.

We loved everything apart from we never met any of the owners or staff. When we arrived, a note told us which apartment we were in & the key was in the door. No one checked to verify who we were throughout the whole weekend & no one bothered to check us out- we had to just leave the key in the door. Other minor point- we didn't like the wooden slats which let lots of light in compared to curtains.

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment for 4 nights at the very start of our trip on the South Island. The reception staff were very helpful and knowledgeable on the local area and the check-in and check-out process was easy. Our room was pleasant, a good size and had excellent cooking facilities and great views through the fully glass fronted lounge and bedroom areas. We had free wi-fi access and this was pretty quick, along with a good selection of TV channels. It's a couple of km's out of town which definetly makes it more peaceful (so was a bonus for us) but if you are planning on self-catering you are probably best with a car as the main supermarket is the other side of town.
