"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The bus stop right in front of the hotel made getting around incredibly convenient, and we loved how close the shops and restaurants were—just a short walk away. It was a great experience overall – highly recommended!"

"Lovely spot in close location to town. Only comment is hot water ran out after 1 shower or bath (and bath to soak muscles is highly needed after a day snowboarding on the mountain!)otherwise fantastic and all you need for great holiday in Queenstown 🙂"

"The Melbourne Lodge has an amazing guest lounge with kitchen facilities like microwave, toaster oven, elec. frying pan, dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, etc. It is a great place where you can prepare food and dining tables to eat at. We had a king size bed and a great room, nice bathroom & we loved it. We walked into the city near the wharf every day & organised activities from there. Also, it is very reasonably priced, the best we could find in Queenstown. Staff are very helpful & friendly. "

"You can hear everything in the hallway. Peoples conversations, elevator, people climbing stairs and walking along the hall. No views but it's a two minute walk to the lake. Mould in the bathroom. Furniture Dated. Not the most friendly staff. Felt I was getting yelled at when I tried to check in early. Amazing location. Cosy room. Nice layout. Comfortable Bed. Room was easy to heat/cool. The tub was nice and deep, a very nice treat after walking."
