Weekend away in Bowness

We visit Bowness twice a year & couldn't get in at our 'usual'. Booked May cottage B&B & we weren't disappointed - we will definitely book again - great value for money. The bed in room 2 was extremely comfortable, the couple who run the B&B were extremely accommodating & had thought of everything, even a face cloth for make up removal :) Breakfast was plentiful, delicious & cooked fresh, very clean B&B - traditionally furnished with a lovely modern bathroom & excellent shower - a very short walk into the centre of Bowness with free parking which was a bit of a tight fit but manageable.

Anniversary break

I booked here for our anniversary break and wasn't disappointed. Great location and lovely room. Comfortable and well equipped room, we were welcomed like old friends by Joan and Simon on arrival. Good breakfast each day with plenty of tea and coffee on offer. Plenty of information available for activities in the area for those not familiar with Lake District. Great location for singles and couples wanting peace and quiet, while being so close to the centre near to shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as bus and boat routes. Hope to be back sooner, rather than later.
