I have stayed at the Fairmont in Banff twice and this property in Whistler did not disappoint either. The whole experience was absolutely seamless and I literally could not make one complaint. Every single staff member was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the facilities were excellent. The food and beverages on offer in all areas were some of the best i have had in Canada. I cannot wait to return!!!
Love the kid’s play room and all different areas and functions

The executive suite was spectacularly prepared for us when we arrived including the heating, lights, cleanliness, and even a hugeChristmas tree! I love the interior design and room layout. Everything was so thoughtfully designed included where the best places for USB ports should be.
It is an amazing Hotel, with great service, staff and location. if you are looking a prime place to stay, this is the place.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Location, amenities, clean overall very good. Having made use of both member and hotel lounges before I was surprised that alcohol wasn't included like other hotels. Also the warm food in hot plates requires the plates to be heated. The food was good but not warm.
Fantastic resort for skiing at Whistler blackcomb. The Fairmont Gold experience is a great experience and really enhances my Fairmont stay with good food, ambiance, and a sense of luxury.
We had an amazing time! The resort was fabulous - location was amazing, the food spectacular (especially in the Gold Lounge) and the staff super attentive. We will definitely be back!
Great stay! Highly recommend the gold experience. Food was delicious and everyone was so friendly. Will be back soon.
Only thing that was not great is that the gold rooms that were available had no view at all. Just a wall of pine trees outside the window.
What an amazing experience for our engagement celebration! The checkin and gold team were extraordinary. Roses and cheese plate were just as I’d hoped and Adam in the grill couldn’t have been a better host. Highly recommend.
The Fairmont at Christmas - so festive and beautiful!! Shout out to Roman at the Nutcracker Lounge and Martin at the Wildflower and Holly at the Chalet! They were all super friendly and their service was excellent! And we are already missing our daily breakfast in the 8th floor lounge (the best cappuccinos and bread puddings).
Our family try to stay at the Gold room atleast once a year due to its convenience. I would say that the quality of the food have gone down compared to before. Not sure if it's worth staying here anymore for the price.
The gold experience was excellent. I even scored a room upgrade because of my Expedia rewards status.
The food in the gold lounge was amazing. The desert and breakfast courses are a memory that will stay with me for years to come.
The service was also outstanding. My dishes were cleared away so promptly and with such a professional approach.
My compliments to the staff at all levels.
The Wildflower Restaurant has delicious food. Staff was lovely. The music was so beautiful out back with the red bean bag chairs. Convenience to everything like shops, whistler village and gondola. I liked that is was away from the business of the village. Spa was a little boring, feel like it could have better decor, small rooms for the RMT’s as well. Massage was great tho!
Loved that you could have pets stay and the Fairmont Gold rooms were amazing! Pool and health club was nice as well. This was definitely a wonderful experience, just wish the spa had a little more ambiance! 4 our 5 STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you are considering a stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, let me make your decision easy: book the Fairmont Gold Level. My recent experience was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share it. We were utterly blown away by the service, the exclusive amenities, and the sheer value that this premium offering delivers.
From the moment we arrived, the Gold experience began. We were whisked away to a private, personalized check-in on the Gold Floor, bypassing any lobby queues a small but significant detail that sets the tone for the stay.
The cornerstone of the Gold Level is, without a doubt, the Fairmont Gold Lounge. This wasn't just a place to grab a quick coffee; it was a five-star dining experience throughout the day.
The cost savings from enjoying these daily, top-tier meals more than justified the upgrade, turning it from a splurge into an incredible deal.
What truly elevated our stay above any other hotel experience we’ve ever had was the impeccable service.
The Gold Concierges were proactive, highly intuitive, and executed every request flawlessly.
Thank you
The hotel was great and the staff on the gold floor did their very best. We have rarely stayed in such a beautiful room. However....prior to our stay I was assured by email that my dairy intollerance would not be a problem for the kichen in the gold room lounge as there would always be dairy free options "held back" and all I had to do was to make my presence known to staff. I was also told that there were often dairy free options in the main selection anyway. Unfortunately I found this to be misleading and very disappointing. The waiting staff were great at trying to satisfy my needs, but you should know that there wasn't the choice that I was hoping for and that an "alternative / held back" sandwich took 40 minutes to make and a dairy free muffin on a separate occasion that had similarly been held back, had clearly been heated from frozen in the microwave as it was rock hard and inedible. So frustrating as guests of the gold room who had no dietary restrictions had many beautiful treats to look forward to every day. My wife felt too guilty to enjoy what was on offer because of my extremely limited choice an often empty plate
Excellent service and place to enjoy a pleasent vacation

Stayed at the Fairmont Gold in Whistler recently. The room itself was very nice and comfortable, but unfortunately the overall Gold experience did not live up to expectations.
The service felt below the standard I would expect from Fairmont Gold. While there is a lounge/buffet for Gold guests, it is quite limited and consists mostly of light snacks rather than a meaningful breakfast or food offering. I would not recommend counting on it as part of the value of the stay.
Overall, while the accommodations were good, I personally did not find the Fairmont Gold upgrade worth the additional cost.
