Amazing farmstay, great place to get away from it all. I enjoyed the peace and quiet up in the hills, surrounded by the beautiful horses and friendly 3 dogs of the property.

Great adventure for a family, just getting there!

Our stay was a great way to see the beautiful native bush along with amazing sea views at New Zealand is famous for. The hosts, Karyn and Scott are just so accommodating in a relaxed Kiwi style which is all you can ask for; they are open and friendly and enjoy your coming to visit. The instructions are clear and easy to follow when arriving - my husband really rather enjoyed the 4WD experience in the Toyota Highlander on the way up. The dogs are a wonderful welcome, great little personalities and immediately you feel at home. Waking up in the morning to see the horses grazing on the front lawn was special, our kids both loved the fact the animals ranged free around the accommodation and they even got to feed Tiberius some bananas! First time we have ever seen a horse eat bananas and a memory made for our family.

Pros: Great location, easy to access (with instructions) very relaxing and laid back.

Cons: na

Location: We stopped at the hot springs in Te Aroha on he drive north, best value for a family of five to spend 2 hours then lunch at The Cheese Barn afterwards

Great out of the way getaway!

Overall a great experience, aside from a few quirks - which are not worth mentioning (you get them everywhere)!
