A huge disappointmen. Pointless text/email communication- it is best to call rather than wait for them to answer any other way-- esponse time was about 15 hours if you do not call. Our property had a broken toilet seat in one bathroom and the other seat was barely hanging on by one bolt and hung off the toilet edge. Rugs were stained, cabinet hinges were broken and dirt balls were everywhere and in corners and the floor was sticky and stained as well. The properties are clearly abused and maybe used for parties or very filty clientele. We walked past one room they were cleaning and it was littered with trash, fast-food wrappers and pieces of clothing. The management has not thought to even do a simple steam-clean of area rugs (or replace them for $200) so they are clearly not interested in anything but running the property into the ground and pocketing what they can. The rooms are actually bigger than they appear on the photos and could be really nice. We often need places in DC and were hoping this could be a place to plant ourselves while working here, but alas, no. I do not recommend it for anyone who is slightly worried about germs or what the previous occupant might have done. I suggest looking elsewhere.

There were mixed reviews for this property, and I secured it because it is a 2/2 - which is nice to have since my teenage stepdaughter was with us. Here is the breakdown: The building was fine. The neighborhood is not the greatest, but it is not bad. Walkable to many things, grocery store and drug store just a few blocks away - super convenient. Front desk person was very nice. No communication day before and day of check-in (other than automated messages). •Light switches in bathroom broken •Toilet seat in one of the bathrooms not on toilet properly, very loose and would fall off (notified them, it wasn't fixed) •Bedroom and living room ten feet from busy highway (we literally measured it with a laser tape measure) •Our condo was right in front of noisy elevator in the hallway •Floors would literally get wet from the humidity unless it was very cold inside from the air conditioning - very poor ventilation •Amenities stated on the paper placed on the kitchen counter says we would get access to gym, pool, etc. - but we couldn't •TV had no local channels •Stains on sheets and towels •Light bulbs out on various lamps •Lamp in one of the bedrooms switch was broken off •We asked to check out late and it is $50 an hour for late check out •My husband spilled a little water on the floor, cleaned it up and floor was filthy - doesn't seem they mop regularly They did extend a courtesy checkout to us based on the issues we reported to them, they just didn't fix any of the issues.

The property was nice. The parking was difficult and the key situation wasn't simple to use. The apartment was better than I had hoped for but the cleanliness was weak. Found a kids' shoe under the couch and there were dust bunnies. the people handling the property were quite nice and quick to help.
