A perfect launching pad to enjoy the best of Rhode Island's beaches and dining! We look forward to returning.
This was a lovely cottage. It was perfect for our anniversary getaway but there was enough room for our two children if we wanted to stay for a weekend. We enjoyed paddleboarding from the private dock, biking through quiet neighborhoods, and the short drive to our favorite beach bar. Beautifully decorateds and accommodating host.
The cottage is in a great location - a beautiful beach is nearby, as well as the restaurant the host recommends. Beautiful landscaping at the cottage and comfy quarters. Christine is a thoughtful host - she left freshly-baked muffins for us and a boogie board for my 8 yo to use at the beach!
Christine was a terrific, communicative, hospitable host and her cottage was perfect for our long weekend. It’s in a great location and is clean and inviting.
Thanks you for having us for our first visit to RI, Christine! We’ll be back!
This cabin is located next to the owner's house. There was a separate outdoor patio for us and the patio was nicely landscaped. The inside of the cabin was cozy and had the softest bath towels I've ever used.
It’s a darling but smallish cottage walkable to a lovely private pond with a dock. Kayaking was so peaceful and the kayaks are kept right by the dock. Outside the small patio is beautifully landscaped. Being able to walk to a wonderful state beach with all amenities and to the Matunuck Oyster Bar made this the perfect spot for us.
This is our second trip to this property. It's always a lovely time spent at this beautiful cottage.
It's just the right size for the two of us. There are nice restaurants within walking distance, and the property is lovely to hang out at as well. So beautifully landscaped and decorated. Christine is an amazing host, she went above and beyond to make our time there special. Highly recommend Potter's Pond cottage.
Our family (2 adults and 2 kids 7&10) stayed at this lovely cottage for a weekend getaway. Even though we live a short distance away in CT, it seemed like we were much further away!
The cottage met all of our needs as far as amenities and is in a great location with access to Potter's Pond. We spent a lot of time kayaking around and enjoying the sites.
Overall it was a great stay, and we would definitely recommend it!
Easy to find, good communication from owner, clean, comfortable, quaint. We really enjoyed our short stay and had no problems. The ONLY thing we were lacking that we were hoping would be included was a coffee maker.
It was a great little weekend. Perfect little cottage. Just enough for our family. We grilled outside. We walked to the Matunuck Oyster Bar. Great kayaking access and close to the beach. Christine was the perfect host. Gave us great ideas for eating out, fun things to do.
Christine our host was very helpful with suggestions on beaches and places to eat. Her property was absolutely beautiful and I looked at every inch of it! The tiny house we stayed in directly adjacent to her home had everything that we needed, including an adorable outside patio to ourselves. Would recommend to a couple or single person looking for a getaway to a beautiful section of Rhode Island. The bed was a little stiff for my liking…
Overall this was a great place to stay. Be mindful of how small it is and that the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedroom. Air conditioning was in the upstairs (bedroom) window so on very warm days, the living area is not as cool as you might want. The supplied floor fan made it comfortable for us. We found the kitchen to be adequate (new Keurig was a nice touch). We cook our own meals but didn't have a sauté pan nor covered pot (other than the lobster pot) so cooking an egg was a challenge. We ended up using a stock pot with a pie plate for a cover to poach eggs each morning. The supplied grill had completely replaced grates and burners so we grilled every night. Fresh seafood, of course. The location was excellent and we wouldn't hesitate renting here in the future.
The cottage is so cute on a picturesque property. We loved the neighbourhood feel especially since it is within walking distance of a beautiful state beach.
Such a cute location. The grounds are so pretty. Location close to beach (we biked there) and to great food (got takeout to eat at the beach). Very quaint for couples getaway.
The owner was great! Friendly, accomodating and made us feel right at home.
She greeted us when we arrived and departed. Just a lovely little place, a real cottage feel in a country setting.
We had a fantastic trip! Staying at Snug Harbour was icing on the cake. Christine was super responsive on any questions I had and had great suggestions for places to eat and visit. Snug Harbour was centrally located to everything on our wish list to visit. I highly highly recommend!
Very nice stay. Beautiful location. Beautiful landscaping. Quiet at night. Some little quirks.Advise the owner to have starter napkins, a metal coffee pot with the metal insert to place coffee; coffee pot misding interior. Have 2 starter Kerug pods. Have some olive oil, sugar that is not crystallized in a container and can't be used. The beds are not comfortable, one kitchen table out of two was ready to break. If you are 5 ft -5 ft 2 inches tall, you can't reach the shower head to remove or store your shampoo in the caddy. With some upkeep/improvement, this place would be a ten.8.5 out of 10.Delightful,Sue K.
