Brutal motel - do not stay here

Do you like stained sheets? No hot water? No water pressure? Poor service? Loud and busy street outside your window? Paying way too much for your room? Hotel staff walking into your room unannounced? If so, stay at this abomination of a motel. If not, anywhere, at any price, would be better.

I wouldn't go back

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel, close to city centre with an outdoor pool. The pool was great (small but clean and private). The room however smelled stale. Chambermaids came early in the morning but we asked them to return later when we would be out. No one returned so the beds were not made, towels were not changed and the coffee supplies were not replaced. The premises seemed to lack good management.

Very poorly maintained

This hotel is very run down and dirty. The place smelled like mold and could be a health issue. There were dust bunnies in every corner - they did not go away the whole week we were there. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice.

Not Impressed

The hotel was not clean, it was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. The airconditioner wasn't working so the room was about 100 degrees when we arrived. The fridge didn't work. When we asked for help the front desk clerk was rude. The day that we were leaving they deactivated the key first thing in the morning. Not at check out time. Besides the fact that we had a pool, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The noise was unbearable and went through the whole night.

This is a good, clean, economical motel with all of the amenities needed close by. We will definitely stay ther again.

Lots of room for improvement!

We were disappointed in this experience. The room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but reeked of smoke. The toilet ran constantly. We had to ask twice for enough towels for the four of us. The two king size beds were a nice feature, but left very little space in the room. The pool looked nice although we didn't have time to take advantage of it. Overall, the hotel needed maintanence and remodeling.

Beware!

When the air conditioner was broken in one of our rooms, the manangement tried to blame us for not selecting air conditioned rooms. There wasn't even a power cord to plug it in with. Basically the only praise I can give this place is the price and the king sized beds which were comfortable. The management needs some training in customer service and problem solving.

Good for Victoria

This hotel was in a good location in Victoria and the staff was friendly. The only complaint I had was that I asked for a non-smoking room, and the room smelled like smoke. But other than that, I would recommend this motel to those who seek an economy place to stay.
