We were very pleased with this hotel considering it is on Route 66 and that can be iffy. The room was clean and bed was comfy and very quiet. Nice touch with the decor of the 60’s. A couple of restaurants nearby and we got a good vibe of Route 66. Highly recommend

The quintessential mid-century motel. Loved everything about it. Most comfortable bed and the entire property is clean and well maintained. Not much to do in Tucumcari. Pretty run down town, but we had an excellent Mexican dinner at La Chaparittas and a great breakfast at SideKix on 66.

I had a great time at this hotel! It is such a cute concept and cute hotel. They were very welcoming to us and our dog. The staff was also so very kind. We would love to come back sometime!

The Roadrunner Lodge is a great little spot on old Route 66. Clean rooms, very friendly staff, and a cool mid-century vibe all make for a great stay. They also have dog-friendly rooms available and a nice little dog run area. We stay here on on our travels through New Mexico and always have a great stay. Pop in for a night next time you pass through Tucumcari!

The room was quite clean and very fun - great retro decor! We loved the radio playing old music especially, what fun! The Moon Pies they left for us were great, too. Incredible place. Extremely charming and the owner David is great. Awesome place if you’re traveling with pets. His welcome treats are a nice touch. The rooms are decorated in such a beautiful nostalgic style. Can’t wait to get back there soon. Del’s Diner is a really short walk and had a great steak! Highly recommend staying at The Roadrunner Lodge.
