"An enjoyable stay. Staff friendly, clean room. Don't know why the spa had a charge as when booked directly with the hotel it would have been free and there were charges for the towels and the robes. Evening meal good. I felt the room was quite expensive but on the whole it was an enjoyable stay."

We had no hot water to shower in the morning and mentioned it at check out only to be told it had been rectified, but at that point it was to late as we were checking out. "Lovely quirky old hotel but bathroom layout poor, could do with removing bath and putting a shower only, it would be much safer.
