"What a fantastic property. Rebecca was extremely friendly, helpful, altogether amazing. Beautiful room and view. Comfy bed, large bathroom, Nespresso machine, bottled water and jelly beans! The breakfast was excellent, fresh eggs from the chickens, really good selection of cereals, yoghurt etc and a large cafetière of coffee. What more could you ask for. What a gem! "

"From start to finish, Tracy and Jerry could not do enough. Their beautiful home was so welcoming and comfortable, it was a pleasure to stay there. The breakfast was extensive and fabulous and so tasty too! They had covered all the small touches and nothing was too much trouble. "This is an excellent B and B. Clean, quiet, safe, affordable and comfortable. It is a bit remote, in a little village, so do take care when driving to it. Our Driving app directed us through some single lane, gravel roads because that was the shortest way. But you don’t have to do that, as we discovered. "

"Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...

"We stayed overnight as a rest stop on a long road trip. We had everything we needed, extremely friendly and efficient service. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean. The best part was a freshly made, hot breakfast in the morning. I mention that it was hot because most times you get a lukewarm breakfast but this was piping hot and freshly made, which made a big difference to tired travellers."

"Chris and Val are excellent and friendly hosts and can provide you with a plethora of local information on places to visit and eat at. It was a pleasure to be able to stay with such a nice couple. The only thing to note is the Shower Room is a little tight but, you do not stay in the Shower Room and this should not put you off staying. Once again, thank you to Chris and Val especially for the excellent and plentifull breakfasts and scones. "

"Our room was very characterful with lovely old floorboards and nice padded chairs. Super king sized bed (very comfortable). Nice selection of drinks with specialised fruit teas and hot chocolate provided in the room. Overall the accommodation is very spacious and full of period charm. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The Hotel is well placed for days out to Powis Castle, lake Vyrnwy, Barmouth and many local RSPB reserves. I recommend the vegan curry."

"We stayed at this beautiful cottage through New Year, family of 7 and dogs, it was everything that we expected and more. The cottage was absolutely perfect, there were plenty of lovely walks around, we hired E-bikes through Bear Trax which was fun. All local amenities which included shops, pubs and restaurants (dog friendly) were within easy walking distance. Highly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be back to stay again."

"It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs."
