Zentrale Lage mit Licht und Schatten
Das Hotel überzeugt durch seine zentrale Lage direkt am Hafen – ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungstouren in der Umgebung. Direkt gegenüber befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle, was die Mobilität zusätzlich erleichtert.
Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und stets bemüht, den Gästen alle Wünsche zu erfüllen – ein klarer Pluspunkt im Servicebereich. Die Zimmerreinigung ist gut, alles wirkt ordentlich und aufgeräumt.
Allerdings zeigt sich das Hotel insgesamt in einem stark veralteten Zustand – sowohl die Einrichtung der öffentlichen Bereiche als auch der Zimmer entsprechen nicht mehr dem heutigen Standard. Trotz des angestaubten Ambientes sind die Zimmer angenehm geräumig.
Das Frühstück konnte leider nicht überzeugen: Sechs Tage in Folge dasselbe Angebot (Reis, Curry, Kaffee und dünner Orangensaft) ließ jegliche Abwechslung vermissen. Hier wäre definitiv mehr Vielfalt wünschenswert.
Ein echtes Highlight ist der dem Hotel angegliederte, modern renovierte Onsen im angesagten Industrial Look. Zwar klein, aber sehr stilvoll und für Hotelgäste kostenlos zugänglich – ein echter Wohlfühlort. Ebenso der Eingangsbereich mit Sitzgruppen.
Mein Gesamteindruck: Das Hotel hat Potenzial, ist aber aktuell noch nicht auf internationale Gäste eingestellt. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen dennoch gut geeignet.
