This is an older property, but Aaron has made it comfortable and homey. My family all said the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. There was a slight cigarette smoke smell (likely from a previous tenant not respecting the policy), but it wasn’t overwhelming. We took our dog for walks, the immediate neighborhood seemed nice but the main streets seemed a bit rough.Netflix and games were a nice touch.
The location was extremely convenient to the venue we were in town to see a show at (The Ottawa Tavern). The place was very clean, with plenty of comfortable seating, pillows, blankets, and paper products available (Kleenex in living room and master bedroom, plenty of TP in the bathroom cabinet). There were small trash cans in the living and bath rooms. The bathroom was kind of dated, but still charming. I liked the availability of shampoo and conditioner. The King size bed was very comfortable, I slept like a rock! Nice place for the price, great host! Aaron was very responsive to all of my messages.
Very pet friendly. Parking instructions included the left side of the house in the driveway, but it was blocked by the upstairs residence the entire time, but street parking was readily available. Place was super clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable, and area was quiet. Very nice stay!
Great stay. Was here 27 days. Neighborhood was good. Little ceasers and fire wings market right next door basically. I would for sure recommend to friends.
Had to get a last minute hotel because My spouse and I traveled from out of town and were somehow double booked. The Host never communicated about this happening after the booking. This is a KEY mistake and I give this review with hope that the host resolves this issue in the future for other guest. Received a bank pending refund, but in this case, it was more about the principle, timing, and lack of communication.
I hate to leave a not so good review as Aaron was a kind man to my son & i . He even let us go in early but the condo we rented he said was out due to the furnace not working yet there were people staying in it. The neighbor hood is NOT SAFE. More so at night. People screaming in the middle of the night to early morning. Ppl walking around smoking & getting high. Causing the outside and the inside of the condo to smell. Ppl downstairs were smokin something. The condo itself smells like dog/mice pee. & weed Which we did see a mouse run across the living room more then 1 time. The kitchen floor was so dirty with crumbs and dirt i cleaned it on my hands and knees. Sinks were dirty. The beds were comfortable though. And it was stocked with towels and dishes. Sorry again for all the negative but its the truth.
