Property was exactly what we wanted…a very casual gathering place for a few local family members. We traveled from FL for the holiday. Property was spacious and clean. Riverfront was wonderful even though it was cold! We had everything we needed and more!!
My fiancé and I had a very relaxing weekend at this cabin. It was located close to everything we needed to do. Our favorite was the hot tub at night after a long hike. I would recommend a deep cleaning in the bathrooms and kitchen, but overall the place looked clean in most parts and was comfortable.
We were evacuating from the hurricane and needed a place large enough for everyone and pet friendly. Beds were super comfortable. We re-rigged the fishing poles in the hallway and tried our hand at fishing the river in our short stay.
We needed a pet friendly place in East driving distance for Columbus, Butler, Reynolds, and Auburn that was pet friendly, not too in town, and available on the weekend ofy cousin's wedding. This place ticked all the boxes, and had some.bonus features, too. (Hot tub and river access!) While we were there, we were able to get family together that we haven't seen in over 10.years, and had a really nice get together on the large porch/covered deck. My husband and I both have back problems, and the absolute best part? The beds are comfortable! I can't tell you the number of times we've rented a place for the beds to be rock hard or really old inner springs with springs poking through. These are foam, with enough give to be comfy and enough support to not leave us stove up.This is definitely a listing to save for future trips back to visit family.
We loved the location and privacy of this place! The hot tub was spotless and the place was very tidy. We were five adults and had plenty of space, and plenty of towels, linens and supplies. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. Our favorite place to hang out was the open porch!
Just as promised a great fish camp with everything we needed. Didn’t chance the river as storms had the water high and muddy. All the space needed to gather for two family birthdays.

A quiet place to stay
We enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing location of the property—it was a great place to unwind, and being so close to a local kayak rental company was a definite bonus. We really appreciated how convenient it was to get out on the water and explore the area. That said, we did feel the cleanliness of the property could have been improved. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not usable during our stay due to its condition, which was a bit disappointing. With a bit more attention to upkeep, this property has the potential to offer a truly wonderful experience
The check in was very easy, no contact just a code on the door. The hot tub was very clean and ready to use. The bedrooms were all very clean, and they had extra blankets available. There were fishing poles, floats, and kayaks at the property for you to use as well. The owners were very responsive and helpful and ready to answer any question. This property is well water, and I did find the water in the bathrooms had an unpleasant smell, but other than that everything was great. It was perfect for a weekend trip.
