Stone floors, two wood-burning fireplaces, and artistic touches throughout make this home a truly unique retreat in the mountains. It was once owned by renowned artist John Clymer, famous for his portrayals of American life and nature scenes of the western United States. You'll definitely feel the natural Western touches throughout, including wooden and log furniture, plus woven rugs are on display and underfoot. Walking through the door, you can take off your boots on the built-in bench and unwind in front of the lower lounge's wood-burning fireplace. Rejuvenate in the hot tub after a fun-filled day of mountain adventure.
A masterpiece of style and design, the home's crown great room is set up with a wood-burning fireplace with floor-to-ceiling stone details. The wet bar is perfect for mixing up drinks to enjoy on the sofas or at the nearby game table. Relax underneath the lodge-style wood-paneled ceilings and illuminated birch tree lighting fixtures, to say nothing of the enormous windows highlighting the beautiful view of the nearby forest. The well-equipped kitchen includes a center island and an extra-large fridge. Helpful extras include an Instant Pot, blender, toaster, and pantry staples and spices. Toast to a memorable vacation in the dining room. An adjacent desk workspace is ideal for remote work or online school. Age-appropriate games are available for younger guests.
The primary bedroom boasts a TV, a private balcony, and an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub, standalone shower, double sinks, and a bonus vanity counter. Both downstairs bedrooms include a desk workspace. One room has an en suite bathroom, and the other has a private entrance to the full hall bathroom. The laundry room includes a washer/dryer as well as a deep sink, so you can handwash your ski gloves with no worries.

Excellent house in an excellent city!
Our family had a great summer trip in Teton Village. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. Great communication with host and quickly resolved any questions we had. Highly recommend this home for your stay.
Location was great. No hot tub. One bathroom didn’t drain. Called management but no one called back to fix issue

BEWARE - Unacceptable rental home
This home has a great floorplan and location but is unacceptable for the reasons listed below. I recommend ensuring that these issues have been resolved before booking.
1. As of January 3, 2022 the interior photos are still that of another house. If you see log cabin style decor and white kitchen appliances then they are NOT the Clymer house photos.
2. The house is generally in bad shape. Very old appliances for example, the refrigerator drawer falls off the track every time you open it. The plumbing is at end of useful life with toilets backing up, tubs not draining, and poor water pressure. One toilet has a little sign that says "Press down hard to flush"
3. At one point, the plumbing got bad enough for us to call the manager and the service provided was very poor, as the manager expected me to oversee the repairs
4. Mattresses are very cheap and uncomfortable. I compare the king bed to a children's bounce house. One of the twin beds is a foam pad with a covering and not actually a matress at all.
These are not the makings of and enjoyable vacation.
I need to start with saying that Vacasa reached out to me 3 weeks before our visit saying that they decreased the max occupancy from 10 people to 8 and therefore they needed to cancel our stay. Luckily, we had a few people drop and were able to make it work but they barely offered a discount. This wasn't a great way to start the trip.
Having said that, I would recommend this house to anyone trying to stay in Teton Village. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the base of Jackson Hole has plenty of room for parking cars, if needed. It comes fully stocked with wood so we had a fire going on the whole time, feeling right at home. It also has an incredible view of the mountain from the living room which isnt even marketed in the photos!
I'll definitely be staying in the Clymer House the next time I'm in town.
