FALL AWAY FERN CABIN - Hand-Hewn Log Cabin w/ Modern Touches

Located in Alpine Lake Resort, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath with loft hand-hewn log cabin comes with access to the lake beach, boat ramp, golf fairways, cross-country ski trails, and a lodge with an indoor pool, fitness center, restaurant and bar. Take advantage of the amenities, take a day trip into the nearby state parks and mountains, or enjoy the park-like views from the back porch - this four-season escape has it all!

While the cabin stays naturally cool due to the log construction and mountain environment, you’ll find window air conditioning units in each bedroom during the summer months (Memorial Day through Labor Day).

The downstairs bathroom features a jacuzzi bathtub (no shower), while the shower in the upstairs bathroom boasts a double shower head.

FALL AWAY FERN CABIN REVIEW
The house was very nice and comfortable. I have rented many homes at Alpine. I did not like the lock combination system to get into the rental as I was given the incorrect number to unlock the front door and it took over 30 minutes to get into the house and then the next code did not work either. Most places I have rented there have keys that one picks up at the guard shack upon entrance and drops off upon leaving. TWO showers would be nice, rather than one tub and only one shower. The kitchen is well equipped and the cabin seemed "kid friendly" as we had our grandchildren, ages 4 and 8, with us. The host was gracious and did allow us late check out since no one was renting immediately behind us and that was much appreciated! Very nice place to stay.

You WILL Have a Fantastic Experience
We experienced more than we could have imagined. The home was gorgeous, clean, organized and stocked with everything we needed and things we didn't realize we needed. (just a few examples: blender, snuggle blankets, bath salts, a paddle board, life jackets, floating toys, a cooler and many many more). The cabin is warm and welcoming, it felt like home but not too much that it felt like someone else's home. The owners made the process from booking to checking out so organized and smooth. We were provided with a booklet giving details of the property, the resort and the community. It truly was a restful and adventurous vacation. The cabin is surrounded by woods, so we felt secluded, yet comfortable knowing other homes were nearby and the lake was a short drive or bike ride away. Our family included an infant, teens, adults and elderly parents, this cabin was perfect for everyone. We made countless memories: hiking, swimming, water fun, shops, glass blowing, a zoo, sitting around the fire and relaxing on the beautiful porch swing. Do Not Hesitate to book this cabin, it was a Fantastic Experience.

Great place with a nice view. Clean inside with enough space for 10 people. Easy access to the Alpine lake and the gas station and some shopping center. Totally The property is an enjoyable place.

Perfect weekend
Even better than the listing! We could not believe how well-stocked the house is either. It seemed like every time we wished we had something we would find it stashed thoughtfully in the house. The neighborhood is perfect for walks/runs and we met friendly neighbors as our group walked to the lodge. We will be coming back for sure.
