Posted 09/04/2012 on HotelsA well established country Lodge with villas in the estate grounds. Excellent accommodation and food of a very high standard. Perfectly situated on the North Island East Coast for exploring both the Pacific beaches and the hinterland.

Posted 26/10/2011The owners of this hotel were extremely friendly and very helpful. The accomodation is in bungalows slightly separated from the hotel which could be a slight problem if it was raining (as it was when we stayed there) as it meant driving to the hotel for dinner.
The chef was very keen to prepare a meal to our requirements but the hotel did not have a menu. This may suit some people but not others.
The rooms were very clean and well fitted out with basic kitchen equipment
