We loved the unit! It was quiet, private, and since it was set in the trees, did not get too hot. It was also spacious and well stocked. We loved the 2 decks off the unit!Alpine Lodging was very quick to respond to my messages and very courteous in their responses.A few comments: Laundry soap is not provided, so guests will need to bring their own.Before we checked in, I asked if the unit had fans in case it got hot, and was told it did. There was a ceiling fan in the loft (which we didn't use), but no other fans. Fortunately, the weather was not too hot while we were there, and there was only one evening where we wanted to use a fan, but I tend to like it cooler than most people, so others may have felt more comfortable. The weather wasn't as hot as it can get there; I think only up to about 82 on the hottest day. There were windows to open, so there was cross-ventilation. The downstairs where the bedrooms are stayed comfortably cool the whole time, so no fans were needed there.The shower (not the bathtub one) is kind of small and the shower head handle too long, so I had to almost stand against the wall to get the water to run on me. I'm 5' 2" -- a taller person would probably not have as much of a problem. I liked that the shower head was on a removable handle, but a different one that makes the water face down more than out would be helpful. I highly recommend the unit, I just want to offer comments that the host might want to consider for future guests.
