The hotel was very clean with some minor wear and tear visible such as certain areas with carpets and wallpaper coming away but that’s a normal thing for a building with so much character. The staff more than made up for any criticisms. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and hope to return soon"

"The staff were really friendly and helpful. The golf buggy taking us from the beach house to the main hotel was great for my elderly mum. Room was spacious and airy and had a lovely terrace. Food in the pizzeria was mediocre- had to send cold and dry pasta dish back - but the food in the brasserie was excellent and breakfasts were lovely!"

"Stopped for just one night, check in was okay. We had a room on the 3rd floor, the lift only goes as far as the 2nd, so worth noting if you struggle with stairs. Our room was at the rear of the property, so the 'view" was of the poorly maintained properties sof which sadly there are plenty in Scarborough so not fantastic. Room was sufficient for one night, bathroom was modern with a walk in rain shower. Breakfast had plenty of choices of fruit, cereal and pastries. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast was from a hot counter, freshly cooked would have been so much nicer."
