The owners even mòved their car so we could tuck our motorbike on the drive. Would recommend without question. Oh,and a first class breakfast with proper tea!"

"It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. "Cameron and his wife have created a lovely, bespoke place to stay in Staithes. Our room was spotless and the bed was really comfy. Perfect cooked breakfast from Cameron. We would love to return. A decent hill to negotiate down to the quay and the rooms but worth the effort."

"A nice place in a great location just a 5 minute walk from Grosmont Station. Its not a modern hotel, and rooms are not soundproofed so you can expect to overhear other guests coming and going. The showers are difficult to set to the right heat and are affected by other people using water. A bit of modernisation would help. Decor in room dated and could do with refreshing but otherwise, a nice friendly place to spend a few nights. "

"Lovely friendly welcome and very attentive. Rooms are in the middle of being decorated however that doesn't detract from the comfort or amazing views. Good location for the train station 🙂 Liked the pack in the room with the story of Beggar's Bridge, we had a walk down to it after a delicious breakfast and ended up carrying along through the woods. "Staithes is mine and my partner's favourite place in the UK. We have stayed in Staithes a few times now and I can honestly say I would recommend this cottage to anyone. The location is perfect with a bit of a sea view from the bedroom window. The cottage has a lovely cosy feel to it, beds are really comfy and has everything you need for a short/ long stay.
