"This charming house is clean, comfortable, and ideally located to explore beautiful Whitby. Comfortable beds, good shower, everything we needed. (Just a warning if you are tall: beware of low doorways, inside and at the gate leading to the courtyard!)"

"The property internally is nicely presented. There’s a good fitted kitchen with built in appliances and every item of crockery and kitchen utensil you could think of. The electric recliners were very comfy and there is a modern bathroom with a good shower. The property was very clean and nicely presented. The negatives are that the access is poor. Although it’s the norm for Whitby the access is much steeper than we expected and the nearest parking is quite a walk away. 100% not wheelchair...

"Parking space very small to the point my husband had to climb over to the passenger side to exit the car. Rear entrance very grotty. Flat itself was ok and clean but small double bed lumpy and uncomfortable. Bedroom also very hot and stuffy. Good use of a small space though and well equipped "

"The cottage had been beautifully renovated and was located centrally in the old district of town. A couple of small things would have improved the stay-the stairs to the second storey were steep and a bannister rail would have been appreciated, several basic supply items were lacking- no tea bags or fire lighters to light the kindling and wood supplied, and the heating automatically turned off after short periods and not all heaters appeared to be working. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."
