The staff were really friendly and helpful. The golf buggy taking us from the beach house to the main hotel was great for my elderly mum. Room was spacious and airy and had a lovely terrace. Food in the pizzeria was mediocre- had to send cold and dry pasta dish back - but the food in the brasserie was excellent and breakfasts were lovely!

We stayed at the beach house in a room with an outdoor tub. Not worth the extra as it’s so big it would take all day to fill ! Also no real view as only looks out onto woodland 🙁 Bed v comfy and bathroom roomy and lovely towels . It’s a 3/4 min walk to the main house for breakfast( plentiful) and dinner (expensive). It’s a shame the outdoors is not being well maintained as it’s only been open17 months, plants are dying, weeds growing ,patios grubby and parasols broken 🙁 The indoor decore is all beautiful and spa worth using . Plenty of dog owners staying

Everything was fantastic!! Beautiful property set in gorgeous gardens a stones throw from the beach. Food was top notch and staff were very attentive and friendly. Rooms spotless! Will definitely be back soon.

We had a lovely stay overall, with excellent staff at reception , a beautiful hotel, immaculate grounds and fantastic amenities. Everything provided was wonderful, and the quality of the food was outstanding, both at breakfast and in the restaurant in the evening. Unfortunately, the restaurant service really let the experience down. The waitresses were incredibly slow when taking orders and bringing food to the table, which became increasingly frustrating. Our dinner reservation was at 6.45 pm, yet we didn’t leave until after 9.15 pm, having only had a main course and dessert. It was also extremely difficult to get the waitresses’ attention. There seemed to be very little awareness of guests trying to make eye contact, and on one occasion, when I had a query about my food, I had to wait a further 15 minutes before I could get anyone’s attention. What made this particularly frustrating was that, whenever I looked towards the entrance, there consistently seemed to be three members of staff standing together talking rather than attending to guests. The same lack of attentiveness was evident at breakfast. When we arrived, there was nobody available to greet or seat us, and we had to rely on the reception staff to come and seat us instead. It is such a shame because the hotel itself, the facilities, the products and, most importantly, the food are all excellent. However, the restaurant service was significantly below the standard you would expect from a hotel of this quality.

Our room was absolutely beautiful, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The spa facilities were very relaxing and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Lovely stay at the Saltmoore. Food was great, breakfast was excellent. However didn't think the Spa was up to much. Quite small compared to similar I've been in. The staff were what made this place. Very friendly. The rooms were very clean and had a good standard.

The room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly . Breakfast was good but the evening meals ( both pizza and the main restaurant were disappointing and a bit expensive for what we got ) . Also the water temperature for the bath in our room was not hot enough - the shower was OK but not for a bath .
