I had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed my stay. I booked a single room and would say it was a small double. Well furnished with good ensuite facilities. The hotel was clean and well managed, corridors to the rooms was a little tired in places, but public areas and bedrooms were immaculate. A good selection of continental and full English items available for self-service at breakfast. Friendly helpful staff throughout the hotel. I used the swimming pool and enjoyed an early morning swim, I didn't use the other spa facilities or the gym which appeared well equipped. Only on street parking available for which the hotel provided a parking disk which covered from check in to check out times. Definitely reccomend this hotel and look forward to staying here again

We enjoyed our stay at crown spa hotel and also for the fact that it’s just a stone throw to the beach. The room was clean and serviced every morning, staff were really approachable and helpful whenever we needed support. We used the pool and the site was clean as well. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel was reasonable but def not worth the £311 we paid for a night! I appreciate the concert being on drove the price up but was def not worth anything like that price. The room was fairly big but old and dated. The bathroom was again massive but quite dated also. There were some marks on the carpet that looked like burn marks and again for the price should not be there. The staff were great, could not fault them. We didn’t get to use the spa so can’t comment on that and the breakfast was just again ok.

The hotel was clean with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are dated but have everything you need for the price. Breakfast was very good yoghurt, fruit, seeds etc and a full English. Spa area dated and could do with some updating but great small pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and ice cave. Will stay there again.

We had a lovely room on the 3rd floor but it was very hot as a result of the recent high temperatures. This made sleep difficult until the early hours of the morning when the weather cooled. All the staff we encountered were great - very helpful, pleasant and cheerful. Breakfast was standard but absolutely no complaints. It is a very old property but some way of keeping the upper rooms cooler in high summer temperatures would be a major improvement.. perhaps by increasing the roof insulation
