Nightmare Hotel
Imagine this:
Your flight was delayed for two hours and has arrived in China at 10pm.
When you arrive in your hotel, this guy who just woke up looks at your confirmed itinerary from hotels.com and without even checking his computer, tells you - No! No!
So i asked him, what do you mean? And he pulls out his phone, pulling up a translator app and said - your company (pointing at the text on the itinerary that says hotels.com) booked this for you. You are not booked in this hotel.
It was 16degrees outside, they did not have a couch and we are very hungry. And i was like- what do you mean i dont have a reservation? I booked this through hotels.com!
And he was just staring at me blankly.
In short, I had to spend hundreds of dollars in roaming charges to get this sorted out as the receptionist did not understand english. Called hotels.com, hotels.com got a translator and the translator was calling and talking to the receptionist until the receptionist got impatient and hangs up on the translator. the translator calls him back, he picks up the phone and hangs up right away. 5 times!
Then he ignores us as if we havent been standing in front of him for 3 hours. Never ever book this hotel as it is a nightmare!
