We reserved the penthouse for a 7 day stay in Seattle for the holidays. Family of 3 adults. We paid for early check in at 2. Arrived at the property at noon, not realizing that we were so early, we went ahead and went to our unit. The staff at the door was helpful! Once inside of unit, we were greeted by strangers who said they owned the property and they were just now getting it cleaned. Although the property was definitely being used, we hurriedly left the unit, asked staff to hold bags u til 2 when we checked in. We came back at 2:30 to a destroyed unit. We took pictures. It was nothing I’ve seen before. We called the 1800 number, a young lady answered. This is the only person you will ever deal with, no matter how many contact numbers they give you. She is the messenger to all the property managers. They sent housekeeping to clean the unit while we were inside. There was no way we were staying in this unit. It was dirty, broken, not secure, had squatters, unprofessional, etc. So they sent us across town to a different unit(s) We went from a penthouse to a 2 and 1 bedroom apartment unit. The windows don’t all close, missing window treatments, so it’s just wall to wall open glass windows, in units that reek of urine. The washer smells of sour mildewed clothes. The key fob was broken from the keys. The conceriege wouldn’t check us in without an email from the property so we had to wait an additional hour to check in. We checked out went to Hyatt Regency after 4 days.
