Great place
We came home for Christmas and this was a great place to stay. It was clean, quiet and easy to keep warm. Beds were comfortable and the living room was a great place to hang out and relax at night.

Couldn't Find It on a Moonless Night
Unfortunately, we never got to spend our two nights here. We had driven down from Glacier and it was dark by the time we reached the area. It was a moonless night and we could not find the mailbox or see the place (even though it was close to the road). Our GPS seemed to lead us to a "blank" section of the road. We had to move on to Billings to find a room at midnight, and we were unable to return the next day. Our host did the right thing. We got a full refund for our trouble. To me, that says a lot. It was unfortunate it turned out the way it did, but we recommend others stay here but arrive during daylight. From the pictures, it looks like an exceptional place.

We enjoyed the peace and beauty of the location. Back porch was lovely to sit on to talk and eat. Kitchen and bath were well stocked. I would book this place again.

Linda was awesome the cabin was absolutely beautiful. Had to leave early but we will return right in time to come. I could stay there forever and never get over the beauty of the cabin and the peaceful area we got to relax and just be a family

Quiet and easy
We enjoyed our stay at the Dugout! Everything we needed was already there, so it was a super easy trip. Our only mistake was forgetting Roundup is a TINY town and we were there Easter Sunday, so ended up eating dinner at the gas station! It was memorable. :) If you need a quiet spot- this is for you!

Montana road trip
Wonderful place of the highway for a weary family on a road trip. Real gravel road for that true country feel. Wouldn't hesitate to book again in a minute!

AMAZING!!!
I have never started at a VRBO before. I will never stay at a HOTEL again. Our experience at the “Dugout” was incredible. We had a last minute date change and then wanted to extend our stay and Linda was so easy to work with and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again next year when we come hunting!!!
