Stayed for nine nights on a getaway after Easter. The room was spacious, had all implements I needed for breakfast (ok, no table, but there was one just outside in the garden). The bed bugs hinted at in another review were nowhere to be seen, however there were a couple of sandflies, which are almost everywhere in the Queenstown area - good luck finding a place that doesn't have them. The lodge seems to be used by a lot of long-term stay professionals, so there isn't the coming and going you would find with other types of accommodation. The one thing to be aware of is the struggling Internet connection and the almost non-existent cellphone coverage (at least for Vodafone) - the lodge was awaiting a fibre connection at the time I visited, which should bring relief soon. Overall, I enjoyed my stay out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Queenstown.
