Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). PERFECT PEACEFUL RESET!!

Love Love Love this home! The sound of the ocean, the beautiful trees, the deer, the birds, the nice drive! The couches were so comfortable, the beds and pillows were sooo comfy! I have no complaints, I took extra toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and my favorite pan to cook in, so there were no worries on my end. Super clean! The instructions were clear concerning the security lock, the t.v.'s, and the fire place. Take your own oil to cook with and your favorite spices. Also, not sure why, but there is a lack of communication from Vacasa to the 17 mile drive entry points, be prepared to pay 12.25 daily for all day pass in and out should you decide to leave the area to grocery shop, or explore all of the different beaches.

Beautiful house, poor customer service

House was great as a home base for a girls trip. Like many others have said we also had trouble getting into the pebble beach gate. The property management company that you committed with response with AI-esque messages that are not helpful. We never got anyone from the “local team” to add us to the list at the gate. I’m not sure there even was a “local team”. In addition, on the second day of our stay the hot water stopped working. The AI generated customer service again said that they were sending a ticket to the “local team” but no one ever got back to me. We went two days without hot showers and no word on sending someone out to help. Overall, would proceed with caution when staying here.

Mountain house in Pebble beach

Lovely and spacious home with a view of a forest in the back. We came here for a family wedding in Carmel and this house accommodated a bunch of us! The only problem …. Like many have said is the guard gate; they didn’t seem to have the address of this house “on their list” and asked us to call VACASA to ask them to follow through in adding this property to “their list”. We tried and that landed on deaf ears. Fortunately, the guards passed us through, but it was an ordeal each time.

Buyer Beware

We checked in with no problems but then discovered the back door would not lock. I reached out to Vacasa and was told someone would contact us to fix it. We waited until nighttime calling twice more and were never contacted. My husband decided to sleep on the couch in the living room not comfortable leaving our family in the unlocked house. The second bathroom did not have a blind in the window so you could not shower unless you wanted to give the neighbors a show. So we had to share the bathroom in the master which did not drain. You get 4 minutes tops before it is nearly overflowing. The batteries in the thermostat were out so we could not change the temp in the house. It was in the 50's on our end and really hot on the other. The next morning we were contacted saying they would be there around 11. Unfortunately, bad storms were in the area and a tree fell on the property, It knocked the power out on the property. We notified Vacasa and the city came out and said it would be at least 24-48 hours. No one showed up at 11 to repair the lock, so as we sat in a home with no power we decided to leave. We had items in the washer which we could not retrieve because the washer locks when it lost power, and when I asked about retrieving the item I received no reply. When I contacted Vacasa about getting a partial refund or a full refund I was told they did not give out refunds because it was not their fault the home lost power it was an act of nature. I was expected to stay in an unlocked home with no power or control of the temp I guess?

Disappointed

First, the plusses. The house was clean, and there was ample parking. The kitchen was well stocked and had numerous high-quality appliances.Negatives: Aside from the kitchen, the house is stocked at the bare minimum. There are no extra sheets or towels. There are no area rugs or wall hangings to absorb sound, so the slightest noise echoes around the house.Most disappointing is that Vacasa never corrected the issue of notifying the gate to Pebble Beach ijn advance which has been posted several times before in reviewing this property. I contacted them twice prior to coming to alert them to contact the gate. They gave me incorrect information and also failed to notify the gate. After spending an hour contacting Vacasa one of the local agents finally contacted the gate. Once the gate had our names and the property address there was no problem

Friends get away

It was a wonderful time with friends in a beautiful home in a woodsy area. A very peaceful place, just a short drive to the beach. We had problems at the gate. It took about 10 minutes to get "approved" to enter even though it says two cars can enter for free. We were told the first day we would have to pay the entrance fee. Both bathroom and kitchen linens were sparse so I might suggest bringing a few from home. We appreciate the forethought of the owners; the generator came on just seconds after the power went out and ran until the power came back on. Despite these issues we would go again. Now we will be more prepared. Definitely would recommend this to friends!

Pebble Beach retreat

The house was spacious and great for the 10!of us. The water heater in the bathrooms was quick. The kitchen was well equipped, had enough dishes and silverware. Easy to get in and out. My family enjoyed cooking, so we were able to prepare a gourmet seafood meal and enjoyed it. We also loved the small wine cooler. We would stay there again. The only issue we had was trying to communicate with Vacasa.

Perfect Bridesmaids House

This house was absolutely perfect for myself and my 6 bridesmaids to stay in for my wedding weekend! The house is super spacious with great natural lighting, very clean, and in beautiful Pebble Beach.

Do not stay here

The property is in a gated community that you have to be on a list in order for the guards to let you in. The property manager did not add us to the list, and despite 4 hours of phone calls with Vacasa we were unable to be added to the list (see other reviews below, this has happened frequently). The Vacasa support team will eventually recommend paying for day passes out of pocket, but these don’t work after sunset. Overall this was an extremely disappointing experience despite the house interior being newly renovated.

Lovely location, clean accommodations. Easily handled our 9 guests. Only issue was the Pebble Beach gates. I called three times to have our name added to the gate access, but guest services were not able to do so. Gate attendants insisted on charging us to enter and suggested we get reimbursed from the property manager.

Pebble Beach Checkin is a Nightmare that Never Ends

Beware all reviewed warnings regarding check-in. Bring your own toilet paper. If you're not familiar, Pebble Beach is essentially a gated community for really rich people with mansions that the plebeians can pay to get into for a $12 day pass per car. When we arrived, our names were not on a list with the guards as promised and we had to pay over $100 over the course of the weekend. To even access the property, Vacasa hesitantly reimbursed us after much prodding. I probably spent a cumulative 6 hours on the phone over the course of the weekend to make this happen, hung up on multiple times and no context carried between customer service agents so I had to start over every time. Despite the fact that this seems to be a constant issue given other reviews, one Vacasa rep told me there was no practice of making a list of names to give to guards, even though the email specifically tells you to give them your name and the address of the property. Bonkers. The lodging itself was great in some areas, really lacking in others. Bedding was comfortable, although we did not use the pull out couches. The kitchen is great if you love to cook. There are no rugs anywhere in the house so you can hear everything that happens everywhere, echoes galore. The fireplace doesn't really work. Checkout is promptly 10 AM which feels pretty early and non-standard. Overall, I would not recommend staying here or anywhere in Pebble Beach. Choose another property and save your sanity.

Wedding stay

A group of us stayed at this property while in town for a wedding. The property is exactly as it looks in the photos. Very large spacious home. More than comfortable for 10 + people. Communication seemed to be ran through an automatic system so just a heads up on communication. Gorgeous neighborhood & beautiful home. For sure would stay here again.

Avoid with families

The house seems to be most popular for parties. It does not have Rokus in every bedroom or direct TV as advertised. Vacasa won’t provide any reliable on site help, either. Better off booking with a local realtor!

Great stay in Del Monte Forest

Everything was accurate as advertised, well stocked, clean, a great stay for a group of 8 ppl, (max 10 ppl - the pull out sofas for +2 ppl did not feel very comfortable). Home had a high ceilings, beautiful kitchen, and large driveway to park 4 cars.
