Location was good, close enough to shopping centres yet away from the noisy traffic. Staff were professional. Only complaint is that the aircon in the rooms could be a bit colder as when you get back to your room all you want to do is cool off from the heat outside. I would recommend this hotel.

So many great things about this hotel and the staff. However the morning breakfast is not. The food was vey cold every morning, and we were there for 5 nights. Some of the sauces I am sure were even spoiled as they didnt smell that great. My wife ended up with a terrible upset stomach and sure the food was possibly prepared too early in the morning and wasnt the "best" choice to eat after it was sitting out too long in the morning cold.

Close to the skytrain and McDonald restaurant was a bonus being right outside the lobby. Bedroom was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate except for choice of cereal. Only cornflakes and Coco pops. Muesli or porridge would have been nice. I would stay here again when I next visit Bangkok.

The location was great! 1 minute walk from National Stadium bts station and maybe a 5 minute walk from the Siam shopping area? MacDonalds on level 1 that opens until 12 midnight. Appreciated the 12pm checkout, gave me time to do some sightseeing in the morning nearby.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
We enjoyed complimentary daily breakfast, saving time on eating out. The food variety met our expectations, and the linens were consistently clean and comfortable. However, noise from neighboring rooms was a concern around 11:00. The housekeeping service was excellent. Additionally, as VIP guests, we received a free BTS one-day pass and two complimentary water bottles.

I’ve stayed here a few times and it is not as good as I remember but still ok for the price, maybe my hotel expectations have just improved over the years. Good place to stay near the mall, easy access to train station. But the buffet was just okay. My husband just ate cereals very day and the same toast bread because the selections of foods so limited. But the location of the hotel was great. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was close to many amenities. My only complaint is that the a/c was too high and it didn’t turn down In temperature and I was cold. That’s awful to admit when the temperature outside was in the 90’s but I got COLD at night!

The Holiday Express Siam has been a staple for me for a decade now as it is central to all Skytrain options plus shopping just steps away.. the property although needs an update .. the bed was softer than I liked and the amenities need to be added (no pen nor pad of paper). Other than that there were a few familiar faces and familiarity is a good thing being half way around the planet Looking forward to these suggested updates and until the next time around 🙏🙏

This property is one of my “ Go To” hotels when in Bangkok..it is steps away from the MRT as well as a multitude of world class Shopping malls. It also has a 24/7 McDonalds restaurant just at the entrance. The last time I was here, though the facility was in better shape as well it had better amenities.. this time around a pen and a pad of paper was at a premium as I was rather disappointed when I went to calculate what I purchased for customs sakes.. I had nothing to do so .. thank goodness I had some scraps of paper .. the buffet breakfast had better offerings and the dining staff were much more friendlier as we spoke the local language and often that broke the ice.. but this time around even with the language there seemed to be a hesitantcy to want to communicate. Also on the last day I needed to borrow an umbrella and I had to sign away that if I lost it, there would be a charge of 300b for a flimsy kiddy umbrella.. really? A far cry from the one I once knew .. none the less .. with the proximity to everything.. the Holiday Inn Express Siam is a wonderful introductory facility..

Great location
It's 10 minutes walk to Siam Paragon. 3 minutes walk to National Stadium MRT station. The staff is very helpful especially June.

Clean hotel and comfortable stay
The location of the hotel is superb, very convenient to get to the shopping malls on Siam. The lobby is rather small with limited seats around. The room is clean and spacious. Bed was made everyday. Both soft and hard pillows were provided. Drinking water was provided too on daily basis. Buffet breakfast was okay given this is an express hotel.
