good for a quick stay

Not many hotel options in this part of the Catskills and the Buena Vista served its purpose. Clean room,polite workers at check-in, easy to check out. A refrigerator and ice machine that worked, clean bathroom with soap and shampoo, and a comfortable bed. Would stay here again.

It was just an overnight stay. It was perfectly situated for where we were Going the next day which Was SUNY Delhi It could probably use maybe some Painting of the room.

I went to retrieve my reservation at another more expensive hotel and found I hadn't completed it and they were booked! This one was reasonably priced, much closer to the event I attended, clean and quiet. The staff was great! And their breakfast was cute, original and nutritious!

The property is way over priced and advertised as a hotel. It is a motel. It was disgusting with regards to filth. You couldn’t control the temperature in the room. Horrible.

Nope.

Bedding was clean but room had cobwebs and was in bad shape - dirty handprints inside bathroom door, a/c full of dust. EV charger didn’t work. Somehow turning on the shower made the bathroom smell of cigarette smoke. Breakfast was a bag of snack foods. (A positive: glow in the dark galaxy on the ceiling.)

I didnt like anything. It was disgusting. the ac unit smelled horrible and was filled with dirt. the furniture looked like it came out of a dump. everything was broken. i was frightened for my life. it smelled like cigarettes. it seemed like it was housing people with mental disabilities. no one should ever stay there. ive never been more frightened for my life.

Don't bother...

This is not a no-frills hotel. This is a run down hotel. Nasty stained? Moldy? bathtub?And the rings were so rusty almost couldn't pull back the shower curtain. Beatup gross air conditioner and the all the plugs going into one adapter looked like a firetrap issue. Other issues and I never give bad reviews but really felt this one was warranted. Needs total renovation. I did see another room when leaving as the door was opened and it looked better than mine so......very disappointed.

This motel has recently changed ownership.The new owners and staff were extremely cordial and accomodating. While this is very much a work in progress, make no mistake, it is an old school motel, complete with physical room keys and key tags.The rooms were spacious and are in the process of being worked on, but they are extremely dated. I found the room to be clean and the bed was satisfactory.There was a small microwave, mini fridge, iron, and efficiency ironing board, but that was the extent of the amenities. No hair dryer or coffee maker, so bring your own! (There was a complimentary Keurig and K-cups in the office area.) The air conditioner is a window unit and undersized for the room. It took quite a while to cool the room. The surrounding area is very rural, but the main street is quaint and literally just a couple of minutes from the venue. The area hospital and the Delaware Academy school is also just a couple of minutes drive from the motel.

If your looking for a place in Delhi at an affordable rate this is it. The motel is what it is, 2 Queen beds , clean, hot water and good heat. Is it the Belaggiio, absolutely not. If your a picky Peter this aint the place. If your smart and looking for a clean normal place this it. 100 yards from a new Hospital center on a quiet stretch of road. Glad I booked it..

Many repairs and upgrades are needed for this place. It also had a bad smell like some small animal died. I should be refunded my 100 dollars a disgrace. I couldn’t wait til the morning I used a whole can of Lysol to spray the place. I was so disgusted I couldn’t take a shower I had to use wipes to clean myself and my son.
