Like stepping back to the past where the customer service, quality of the linens and rooms and absolute attention to detail not only still exist but thrive at this place. "This is a no-frills hotel. However we had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in our room. VERY spacious. Staff were friendly and at the front desk when we needed them to be there. A lady came to our door once to see if we needed fresh towels (we were there for 6 days). We will stay here on a return visit. Thanks Pier Blue staff"

"This is my second stay at this motel. My room was cozy and the setup is good for one person or a couple. It was quiet and parking was easy. The staff was again friendly and the outside of the property is neat. My only complaint is the mattress is hard as a rock. There is no box spring, just a mattress. I think this is standard for Motel 6. Something they should reconsider. Even folks trying to stay somewhere on a budget need a comfortable, restful sleep."
