This property had a stench of urine and wetness and mold throughout. Minute I got up to my room and turned my air conditioning unit on the stench became worse as if it was coming directly through the vent as well. When I went downstairs for my continental breakfast the next morning there was a grocery bag sitting on a small table like a high school desk that had a sign that said breakfast with an arrow pointing to it. Inside of it was small little shopping bags tied up in a knot with a yogurt and some type of breakfast bar. That was it. No water no juice no fruit no coffee nothing. I later found out from a dear friend of mine that this property is subsidize by New York City’s government to provide shelter for the homeless. That would have explained the stench and the smell. I was there less than 24 hours I immediately checked out and left. This is the most disgusting poorly advertised misleading hotel I have ever booked at and not only will I never do it again, I would expect that it would get shut down. It’s absolutely disgusting .
I was very disappointed in this property. Despite signs being posted everywhere saying the property is 100 percent smoke free, my room had a very strong cigarette odor. In fact, it was disgusting.
The promised "hot breakfast" is just a plastic bag of various packaged food items that aren't all appropriate for breakfast. It looks like it was assembled from items bought at a neighborhood store. I also wasn't sure if there were enough of these bags for all guests.
