The Friedel Haus at Gruene B&B

Welcome to The Friedel Haus, a delightful retreat nestled within our picturesque 10-acre property. This beautifully decorated was built using relaimed wood from the "Old Civic Farmhouse" which was located on the property where Buccee's is now located.

This cottage has two separate master suites that each have their own bathroom. There is a shared dining space that separates the two suites. It has an efficiency kitchen that is located in the dining area. The kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, an electric stove top and a small farmhouse sink. It has your basic necessities for cooking and dining. The cottage has a private firepit, grill, and courtyard!

Located just one mile from the historic downtown Gruene, you're perfectly positioned to explore quaint shops, excellent restaurants, and vibrant live music venues. Experience the charm of Gruene, all while having a peaceful retreat to return to.
A deposit of 50% of the Total Price will be charged upon booking.

Girl’s Trip
We enjoyed our time together celebrating a belated birthday (she always has to wait since her birthday is on Christmas Eve!) This B&B is lovely and the place was well stocked. It was very clean, & the beds super comfortable! It’s a great location, just around the corner from Gruene. Lovely grounds. Lots of privacy. Enjoyed the fire it. I wish we would have had one more day! Great communication with property manager, Michael.

Great for a one or two night stay.
The property is lovely. The decor was calming and beds were comfortable. There is not a common sitting area inside the home. Luckily we had beautiful weather so we could gather outside. Perfect for a one or two night stay.

Gruene Greatness
Driving to our little cottage at night passing by all these strung-up lights was just pretty pulling up to our cottage. We opened the front door and was greeted by a beautiful scent, clean home and a sweet welcome basket of snacks. The rooms were super clean and we all slept perfectly. Even in the summer heat, we had to sit around the fire, listening to some music, having smores (that was provided), and catching up. We also played cornhole under the strung lights… it was all just perfect! Exactly what we all needed and we will definitely stay here again! Much love~ Kinser’s
