Strongly recommended

We spend 3 nights at this well located hotel in Mysore. The hotel is very quiet and squeaky clean. Spacious bedroom. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. Good complementary, buffet, indian breakfast. Very good value. Will definitely stay at the Jade Garden again if we come back to Mysore.

Worthwhile.

This hotel though quite old but very good for value for money. Our stay was for one night only. They provide ok breakfast.And the surrounding is quite good.

Excellent Stay

Its a nice hotel with good rooms, clean bathrooms, quality beds and maintenance. The added advantage is that the restaurant in this Hotel have really good with great service. Overall worth every penny

Modern comfortable hotel

The jade garden was a very welcome relief from the previous hotels that we stayed in. This is a relatively new hotel, that is clean and very comfortable. The restaurant is also very good for dinner. The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, which is a short 10minute ride into the town.

Hard to communicate to staff. They do NOT have access to a computer. I tried to get a staff member to help me find out about a local event and then another one, after numerous tries, I never did get help. They gave me a run around. They told me to go back to my room and would either not contact me again or would take forever. Communication skills with an English speaker are extremely poor. Slow service.

Modern Hotel in quiet convenient centra location.

Clean, modern hotel in leafy surrounds. Reasonably helpful reception. Short (60-100 Rupee) auto ride to the Palace and other attractions. Attractive restaurant although nowhere to sit outside. Only gripes, No hot water in my room. The restauarant below my 1st fllor rrom generated noise from 6am 11-30pm. Cheap window glazing. I would stay again.....2nd floor or higher.

The room are not too bad, but I think the location is a bit off. Plus we were told that it comes with internet only to realise that the internet was only for an hour. And we had to pay for it if we want to extend. Not recommended if you are looking for a long stay. Good for overnight stay.

Excellent hotel to stay in Mysore

Over all very satisfactory. Before booking I read the reviews in hotels.com so all expectations were set. It is near to the main attractions of the city but not in busy central area. They have parking in front of the building along with 2 basement parking. The room was as expected, comfortable and clean. The restaurant is also good and we liked the food there. They served complimentary South Indian breakfast with good options. We have enjoyed the breakfast. The service in the Restaurant was also excellent. Please note they offered me complimentary Wifi as per my itinerary but that became chargeable now. I like their professionalism. I would strongly recommend this hotel to stay in Mysore in medium budget range.

Excellent value

A very nice small hotel. It is in a quiet street about 20 minutes walk to Mysore palace if you wanted to, plenty of taxi and tuk tuk options available. A small comfortable foyer/reception area which leads off through doors to the restaurant for breakfast or evening meals. Breakfast is primarily Indian, there are cereals but no cheeses and meats but does have fruits, toast and eggs to choice for Western tastes. Dinner has a good choice very well priced menu and the food proved to be very tasty and promptly served. The rooms at the hotel have the usual facilities safe, refridgerator, good tv, wifi, a/c spotlessly clean, bathroom toiletries etc

Excellent Hotel at reasonable Price

Adequate hotel

This hotel was a nice clean hotel. The staff was moderately helpful. They would help when asked and didn't go the extra mile. Location of the hotel was nice as we were able to walk to the Mysore Mall, Mysore Zoo and Mysore Palace. This is alot of walking but fun as you get to experience the city and get to walk through the local vegetable market on MG Road. We also stayed at the Royal Orchid at the Metropole in Mysore and it would be unfair to compare the two hotels as the Royal Orchid is at a much higher level. Breakfast was limited as there are few choices so if there for several days you will be eating the same thing every day.

Calm and Comfortable

Hotel calm, clean and comfortable. Located in a calm residential zone but not far from touristic places in rickshaw. Helpful staff. Breakfast and lunch not exceptional but acceptable. But the hairdryer wasn't working.

A Gem!

The Jade Garden hotel is an excellent hotel in Mysore for the price. The restaurant is reasonably priced with delicious food and its tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets. A perfect place to relax and get your bearings before exploring this culturally rich town. The hotel also is more than willing to go beyond the normal level of service (when we accidentally locked all our valuables in the safe) and the duty manager was genuinely kind and interested in our journey. The best hotel we stay in in Southern India.
