September in Tuscany

Everything was fabulous. Apartment was perfect. Ian t heproperty manager was always ready to help. In two weeks we visited 8 hill towns and many local restaurants. Can't wait to go back!!!!

Nous avons passé deux semaines magnifiques chez Enrichetta au calme, avec la vue sur la campagne au bord de la piscine, après les journées de tourisme en Toscane .

Amazing experience!

I really loved staying here. Very grand estate exactly like the photos. Private, quiet, stunning views. Just 15 minutes from Sienna which you can see in the distance from the property. This was a great place to use as a home base while travelling and exploring Tuscany. Great pool area for a dip after a day out exploring in the car. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting a unique and great experience while in the area. Make sure you have GPS or google maps on your phone. Not just to locate this property, but because you will really appreciate and use it while driving the curvy hilly roads in Tuscany exploring g other towns and villages. So many wonderful places to see. Have fun on your trip to Tuscany staying here. It was magical for us.

Lovely location but modest inside

The setting in the rolling Tuscan countryside is beautiful. Ian who met us and helped with our bags was very helpful, he recommended a great local restaurant and when my husband decided to go swimming, cleaned the pool again. He came to help us out late one night after we arrived back from dinner and couldn't get the key to turn in the lock. It was very cool inside the apartment as the walls are stone and it was built in the 15th century but it always seemed cool and damp inside and they charge extra for heat. If you want to cook there it's not set up well as there is no kitchen counter for preparation. While there is a dishwasher, there is no dish rag or soap, so you can't really wash out a couple of glasses and plates and it seems a waste of energy to use the dishwasher for a few things.

Le logement étaient très satisfaisant. Les prestations correspondent au descriptif. L'environnement du site et les paysages sont grandioses avec une vue sur la ville de Sienne. Nous recommandons cette location !

Beautiful family-owned lodging close to Siena

We truly enjoyed our stay at this villa, which was once a large working farm and is still owned by the family. The apartments are in a 500 year old building with thick walls, and well maintained in a rustic style. The pool was cool and refreshing. And the views from the pool are incredible. The rooms are not air conditioned, and it would have been more comfortable with working fans in the bedrooms. Don't bring important work to this place- the views and the weak WiFi will keep you from it. There is a delicious "tavern" (Osteria) next to the property that serves salads, sandwiches, local fare, wine, etc. where we had a delicious lunch under a 100 year old tree. This lovely place is also only a 20 minute drive to Siena through the rolling hills, and has easy access to other towns in Tuscany.

Radi, un petit coin de paradis

Bienvenue à la Fattoria di Radi (la Ferme de Radi). À quelques minutes de l'agitation de la belle Sienne, vous trouverez au bout d'un chemin sur le haut d'une colline, un petit village du nom de Radi où la vue et la beauté du lieu sont à couper le souffle. Nous avons sans soucis trouvé le lieu-dit avec les conseils de la propriétaire. Accueillis par l'adorable gardienne Theresa, nous voici partis pour découvrir notre appartement de vacances, le Nicchio. Et là, surprise, l'endroit fait encore plus grand en vrai qu'en photos, c'est immense. Les parents et les enfants ont droit chacun à une grande chambre spacieuse avec salle-de-bain. Pour une famille de 5, c'était très confortable. Pour l'appartement, c'est un tiers de maison mitoyenne en plein pied, avec terrasse juste devant la porte d'entrée pour déjeuner. Parfait quand on a les mains chargées ! En résumé, pour avoir déjà vu pas mal de locations de vacances, je qualifierai celle-ci de “généreuse”. Côté matériel mis à disposition, pour la cuisine, ou les chambres (linges de lit ou de bain), tout y était en quantités. Nous n'avons même pas tout utilisé. Pour le parc et le jardin, c'est très beau et entretenu quotidiennement. La piscine, est très facile d'accès et a été appréciée de tous pour se rafraichir. À Radi, c'est aussi des retrouvailles avec ses sens. Vos oreilles vont faire une pause ici, c'est l'éloge du calme et ça fait un bien fou. Pour les yeux, le paysage que nous offre les fenêtres d'époque du salon, et de notre salle de bain sont de vrais tableaux, changeants de couleurs à chaque heure du jour. Magique ! Côté service, nous avons signalé un petit problème de remontée d'odeurs dans une salle de bain et le souci a été réglé en 24h. Voilà, que dire de plus de ce séjour à Radi ? que nous vous le recommandons et qu'il nous laisse un souvenir de petit paradis.

Un petit coin de paradis

Le site exceptionnel de la maison qui offre une vue splendide sur le paysage toscan rend le séjour paradisiaque. Sienne est très accessible et le supermarché n'est guère loin non plus. Pour que tout soit parfait, il faudrait prévoir une vaisselle plus abondante. Enfin, il fut très facile d'y remédier. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.
