The Space:
Bundaleer Tiny House 1 by Tiny Away is a quaint farm stay in the town of Martindale. Located an hour's drive from the stunning riverside town of Singleton, which sits on the northern edge of the Hunter Valley wine region. The tiny house has its own private paddock with the scenery of a dam and mountain views.
Here, you can explore the surrounding areas like Denman, a tourist destination located 10 minutes away, Yengo National Park, and Wollemi National Park. You can also visit reputable wineries like Hollydene Estate Wines, Small Forest Winery, and Two Rivers Wines.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Bundaleer Tiny House 2," with 24 hours ' advance notice. To ensure privacy, the two tiny houses are 300 meters apart, separated by two hills.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the 70 acres of property and the tiny house but not enter the main house area or paddocks which will be separated by a fence. Guests will be able to see natural wildlife including kangaroos, birds, and have access to feed the Black Angus Cattle who also frequent the paddock and dam.
Guests will have access to the paddock the Tiny Home is located on. The paddock is approximately 60 acres.
The Neighborhood:
Bundaleer Tiny House 1 by Tiny Away is set in Martindale, about an hour’s drive from Singleton and close to the famous Hunter Valley wine region. Guests can enjoy wine-tasting tours at nearby vineyards such as Two Rivers Winery, Small Forest Winery, and Hollydene Estate Wines, all just 15 minutes away. Local dining options include The Royal Hotel and The Denman Hotel, perfect for a hearty meal after exploring. Pukara Estate Olive Oils and Café offers artisan olive oils and condiments, while Hunterbelle Cheese Café serves specialty cheeses and homemade treats for gourmet experiences.
For outdoor adventures, Wollemi National Park offers scenic walks, wildlife spotting, canoeing, and camping. At the same time, Yengo National Park combines wilderness views with Aboriginal cultural heritage, sacred sites, and ancient rock engravings. The town of Denman adds another layer of charm with its food, wineries, pubs, and specialty stores.
Getting Around:
By car:

By public transport:

- Please contact The Denman Hotel for Courtesy Bus options to and from the pub.
Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is not available
- Weber BBQ Grill is available. You will need to turn on the gas bottle and light it with a match or lighter
- We do not supply firewood, but allow guests to collect it themselves from all over the property
- Water supply is provided. Guests need to bring their own drinking water.
- Pets are allowed by prior notice
- Pets should be kept on a leash at all times
- Pet cleaning fees are applied for an additional $20 per pet per stay.
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Mobile reception has no signals for all telco companies.
- Smoking is allowed in designated areas on the property
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- We have 3 beautiful white ponies on the property for our guests to feed . You can bring your own apples, carrots, etc, to feed them. We provide hay for the animals to be fed.
- As this is a remote property without council rubbish collection, we kindly ask guests to ensure all dishes are washed and all rubbish is taken with them upon departure. An additional rubbish removal fee of $50 may apply.
Important note:
- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
