"Perfect hotel and location"
All staff (management, reception, cleaners, waiters etc) were excellent and could not have been more helpful. Great choice of food with excellent presentation and quality. Hotel is in a perfect location and there is easy access to the promenade for anyone with mobility problems.

"Good hotel close to beach and local amenities"
The ride from the airport to the hotel was pretty short (10-15 mins). Check-in process was completed smoothly and quickly. The rooms, although big enough in size, could definitely do with some updating to the interior decorations. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner services were very well run, but the available options for vegeterian people (some of our travelling party were vegeterian only) were close to nothing, the hotel should definitely look into adding few more options. Although we had paid for full-board, we still ended up eating outside the hotel at most of the times due to lack of options. The hotel also has an arcade, however, during our 5-night stay, we found that most of the games/arcades were "out of order". 2 out of the 3 pool tables were also not in use, which was disappointing. The swimming pools and the separate family jacuzzi pool are well looked after and maintained every day, however, the maintenance (refilling the pool etc.) is done during the night and it can disrupt sleep. The hotel is pretty close to the Marina and a shopping centre where you will find a lot of options for food and for local shopping. The aquarium is also close by and the marine life in there is different to what we see in the UK. The highlight of the attractions near the hotel has to be the cable car, which is 20-30 minutes walking distance from the hotel and the view from the top of the mountains is spectacular.

"Disappointing start, got better"
Arrived at 01:00 hrs. Given the worst room - 807. Cracked tiles / no grouting in bathroom. shabby decor, aircon not working (had engineer trying to fix it at 02:00 hrs). Noisy - next to the lift shaft. flyblown lampshades, WiFi not operable - generally very poor condition. Complained, but night staff were not accommodating at all. Met Mr Peres - General Manager the following morning, and was moved to a newer, cleaner and much better room. After the initial poor experience, the accommodation was vastly improved. High season meant staff were too few for the guests, so slow, forgetful service. Food generally good, plentiful. Room service / cleaning staff helpful and cheerful.

"A modern well appointed hotel with a private beach"
The hotel lived up to its description although the beach is not blue flag and the sea is a little rocky. The room was clean and spacious, food excellent. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Pool facilities very good. The hotel is a 20/25 minute walk to Estepona port although there is a bus stop outside.

"Big changes next season"
This was our fourth year visiting this fantastic hotel. Didn't think it could improve but they have made little changes which has pushed much higher in my expectations. The food was exceptional easily 5*. The only worry is next season the hotel is joining up with it's sister hotel apparently going to have seven pools including a slide pool. Just hope it doesn't change its character.

"Excellent location & decent 4* hotel"
Good hotel - pool not big enough & pool& pool area overcrowded in mid August. Beach club very good with excellent food although a bit expensive! Good room for price. Wished we had booked a higher standard room though! Overall we thought the hotel was good quality & good value for money.

"Good location"
A well positioned hotel across road from beach. Rooms clean n tidy towels n bedding changed frequently. Only had breakfast which was fine plenty of choice. Don't think it warrants 4 stars however just an average 3. A little tired. Extreme lack of sunbeds. Definitely for the older traveller.
