Old hotel with friendly staff

Very old hotel, a lil renovation would be good. The room we checked into was very dusty and the toilet is not clean, we complained and the staff has offered to change us a new room. Everything's okay with the new room.

The house keeping is helful

The toilet is extremely dirty, wifi is poor signal, switches and lights not working. Lobby and hallway with no air con function

Price very expensive but hotel very bad

Toilet very bad,service it's ok,no more parking if u check in late,hotel house keeping not following the sop.i don't like the smell inside the hotel.

Not worth paying

Front desk staffs are not friendly. Very limited car park area. Toilet not very clean especially the floor is very slippery. No laundry bags provided. Swimming pool are is not clean.

We were nearly electrocuted due to wiring problem with water heater in the toilet. Few wall electrical sockets not properly and safely installed.

Hotel for short stay

not much of facilities and F&B in the hotel. ok for just for night/sleep stay if you get at special discounted rate. cause its in the middle of Malacca town, walking distance to malls, shopping centres and restaurants

A true 3-star room, not all room benefits included

Booked 2 Queen bed deluxe rooms. My own room was good. Bathroom was clean, all the frills were there. Just as advertised except there's no room service or free breakfast but I already knew that in advance. The second room however, not so good. No fridge whereas I had. Bathroom wasn't that clean this time. Bathtub jets for this room didn't work whereas mine had no problem. In other words, the other room got the shorter end of the stick when both rooms should have been identical in features and standard. Overall however, it was a good 3 star hotel room. Air con was good, room design was nice, great hospitality by staff, relaxing atmosphere, real value for money and nice features included in the room was an added bonus, especially the bathtub with air jets. Would stay there again but I'll have to make sure I get all the room features I'm looking forward to when I check in. Room I stayed in was 312, the other room was 310.

Poorly maintained hotel

On my opinion this is only a 2 star hotel. Generally clean but facilities/infrastructure is poorly maintained. The jacusi in the room is not working, torn shower curtain, lousy toiletries (small barsoap n shampoo in tube)

A rundown hotel in central location

The only good points for this hotel are central location and available parking.

Bad hotel to stay in

Room Pictures in Expedia does not indicate the true scenario in the hotel. We booked for non smoking but was given a smoking room.No towel in the room either. Hotel changed us to another room.That room does not have the door lock working. We complained ,they try to fix it but it was still hard to close it. The hotel was previously owned by Best Western chain hotels but now it has changed hand to locals. Bathroom was not maintained well, towels and bed sheet were dirty and has stains on.Air conditioning was poor. They are still using CRT TV's in the room which is so small and the transmission was poor.
