Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath vacation home in the heart of Lutsen, a true recreational paradise.

Our home was professionally decorated and it's very comfortably furnished. The master bedroom suite offers a private retreat after a hard day at play. There's a whirlpool for two and a private bath and every window offers views of mountains, trees or Lake Superior.

Lutsen's ski hills are just a mile up Ski Hill Road, you can see the ski runs from the master bedroom window. This is the best skiing in Midwest! Miles of scenic snowmobile trails through Superior National Forest accessible directly from our home.

Hundreds of miles of spectacular hiking trails criss cross the forests and mountains. Mountain biking and horseback riding are available at the top of the hill. Kids of all ages will love the Alpine Slide just up the road. Ride the new 8 passenger Gondola to the top of Moose Mountain and have lunch on the deck of the chalet, it's a spectacular view! Golfers, Superior National Golf course offers 27 holes of beautiful scenery and challenging golf right across Ski Hill Road. Bikers, the newest section of the Gitchi-Gami State trail is just a 1/4 of a mile down Ski Hill Road. Enjoy a smooth ride along the lake, over the waterfalls in Temperance River Park and all the way to Cross River. Walk to the North Shore WInery across Lodge Lane.

Set in Superior National Forest with no buildings behind it, just lots of trees. Fabulous 3 season porch. There's a private fire ring to gather around for evenings under the stars and let me tell you, they are spectacular here. It's the ideal vacation home for families and friends. Close to everything you love about the north shore, but away from the busy resorts.

This was a perfect getaway location and centrally located for all the sites we wanted to visit. Jo was helpful and responded quickly when needed. We enjoyed the back deck and four seasons porch. The North Shore Winery is conveniently located next door with wonderful views of Lake Superior. We highly recommend.

The condo is great, very clean and well-appointed. The kitchen is amply stocked with cookware, the jacuzzi and fireplace are great, and the location is ideal.

Delightful cabin near Lake Superior

Management at the property was accurate and precise in their details and very accommodating. Property is secluded but near several attractions and places of interest. Family of 4 plus 2 grandparents the cabin was just the right size. We had a really nice stay.

Wonderful, well-appointed, peaceful cabin

This was our family’s third stay in this wonderful cabin, and it was once again a lovely experience. We have thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stays, from the attentive and timely communication with the owner, to the well-appointed kitchen, to the overall coziness, comfort and cleanliness of the cabin. Great location to nearby state parks, hiking, skiing, etc. and walking distance to the winery. At this point it truly feels like a home away from home, and we have many fond memories of our time spent together here.

Perfect location for Lutsen area

We took a quick mid week ride of sleds in the area and Jo's place worked perfect. Everything is true to her description, and communication was excellent. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Exactly is pictured!

This cabin in Lutsen was exactly as described and pictures. It is a really nice cabin that had everything we needed and is in a great location. Stayed with our two boys and we hiked the Superior Hiking Trail and took a trip into Grand Marais. We had a great time and highly recommend staying here if you’re heading up to the North Shore

Cozy cabin stay!

We totally enjoyed staying here. Cabin was as shown. Had everything we needed! Jo was on top of all communication. Never had any questions as to what we needed to do. The area is just beautiful with lots of hiking and things to do. Would definitely stay here again!

Ideal for skiers and snowboarders

Wonderful rental property with all the necessary amenities. My friend and I visited Lutsen with our boys to enjoy three days of skiing/snowboarding. The proximity to the hill was ideal and returning each evening to a well-appointed residence was just the ticket. Highly recommend.

Needed Rest and Relaxation

We were really impressed with the Cabin, loved the screened in porch. Great place for coffee, quiet time and enjoying the views of Lake Superior. My wife and I loved the view of the lake from the upstairs bedroom. Loved the fact that there was a whirlpool, though we didn't get a change to use it. The location was perfect to visit other parks and do some hiking. We would definitely rent this place again.

Comfortable and Cozy

My family had a lovely off-season stay at this cabin, the first weekend in May. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. It was a great location for our daily adventures to many of the area State Parks, all the way up to Grand Portage. Jo was great to communicate with, and even sent us some nearby activity ideas since many things at Lutsen would be closed when we visited.We enjoyed coming back to the cabin after our day’s adventures to relax, play games and watch movies. The kids used the whirlpool tub one time and enjoyed that (though the jets are very loud!)The only small complaints we had were that the fireplace didn’t work and the thermostat seemed to be on the fritz, so it would get really hot (especially upstairs). I know Jo would have fixed the issues for us if we had contacted her about it, but it wasn’t a big enough issue us to bother about. We told her afterwards and they took care of it. I had the impression from the listing that the cabin was deeper in the woods, but it is right by the road with just a few trees between. We could hear the cars driving by early in the morning. The next door cabin is right next door. You can see it especially when there are no leaves on the trees. Maybe that all was clear on the website and I just missed it. It was still a great place to stay. I loved the views of the Lake from the upstairs bedroom, and drinking my morning coffee in the living room overlooking the woods behind the cabin. I recommend staying here

Perfect Repeat Stay

This was our second stay at Lutsen’s cutest vacation home, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again someday! This cabin is perfect for our needs. We appreciate the cleanliness of the home, the comfortable beds, the screened in porch, (Miraculously though, we saw very few mosquitoes this time around so could comfortably sit anywhere outside) the close proximity to the beauty of the North Shore, shopping, quality restaurants, (Angry Trout is a family favorite) and being within walking distance to North Shore Winery is just icing on the cake. Jo is always so responsive and has equipped the home with everything we could possibly need. After spending a few nights here, it sure was hard heading back to the Missouri heat and humidity. I’m ready to come back already!

Wonderful Cabin just down the hill from Lutsen Ski Mt.

Great location to stay for those skiing at Lutsen Mt, which is just a mile up the hill. Cozy cabin is spacious and well equipped. Located in a quiet location, surrounded by forest. Check out the local winery just a short walk up the hill! Would definitely stay again.
