Perfect Girls' Weekend!

We loved this property and the golf cart put it over the top! We were able to drive it into town for shopping and restaurants. Perfect weekend with a group of friends!

Great Location and perfect for a group!

This is a neat old house with a ton of rooms and sleeping spaces. We had a group of 9 girls and had plenty of room to spread out. There is a golf cart provided that was perfect to use to travel to and from downtown. We had the best time here and would definitely stay again.

Absolutely recommend!

This place is beautiful, house was very clean when we arrived, the owner, Teresa was so wonderful and fun, so easy to get along with. We came down for a bachelorette party and the house was perfect for it. Jefferson is so cozy, the locals are so sweet. It was great having a golf cart to drive around without having to go rent one. 100% recommend The magnolias!

Six of us senior gal friends met for 3 nights of togetherness at The Magnolias. All of us were delighted with the grandeur, spaciousness, cleanliness, well equipped, convenience to activities, comfortable beds, and quietness of our accommodations. The 6 person cart was fun to tour Jefferson.

Just lovely

Other than the close by train, we absolutely loved this house. It felt like we were stepping back in history. It was decorated beautifully and we really enjoyed taking the golf cart to town.

This is a charming 7 bedroom place that will transport you into a bygone era. Beautiful spacious kitchen and family room. The only downside was there are only two showers. One upstairs and one downstairs.

Mardi Gras Girls Weekend!

The Magnolias is not only stunningly beautiful, it is extremely comfortable, well equipped and was absolutely perfect for our group of 14 ladies, late 50s. Teresa, the host, is outstanding in communication and friendliness. We spent our rainy Saturday afternoon at her incredible restaurant, Haywood House, watching the parade from the balcony and enjoying bar beverages. Our accommodations were immaculate and our weekend was perfect!!!! Thank you so much Teresa!!!

Friends' Reunion

We spent 4 days & 3 nights at The Magnolias for our annual girls' trip. Most of our time was spent in the lovely sunroom. We also enjoyed the parlor, well-equipped kitchen/dining room and touring Jefferson in the golf cart. Beds were comfortable. The roomy carport protected our 3 cars during a storm. There was plenty of additional parking in the driveway. The host had a book with a range of activities and restaurant recommendations, but speaking with her yielded the best places with the latest updates. Train horns were frequent but rarely loud. The town of Marshall is just 15 minutes away with more amenities and restaurants. Overall, a great house and a great host!

Beautiful Hostoric Home

It was wonderful to have so many bedroom. The kitchen was perfect for our needs. It was nice to be able to sit at the dining table to visit. We all had plenty of room. Loved the porch! The refrigerator was dirty. All of the toilets but one were very short. Hit my head on the fan in the bedroom. Bathrooms need soap to wash hands. There were so many TV remotes! Needed instructions on how to work the TV. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Cute house but needs to be maintained and cleaned better.

This is indeed a pretty house and has a comfortable bed in the main bedroom. The jacuzzi does not work and the tub had hair in it. The bedding should be made of of something that can be washed in between guests. I don't like staying where the duvet is unwashed. The outside seating is covered in mold so it isn't possible to sit outside. The thing that bothered me the most was that my dogs came back with fleas, and they have never had flea's in all the years I had them. It wasn't fun dealing with this for a week after leaving.

This house is amazing, beautiful and so much space. Nicely decorated. Ample yard space. House could use a very deep cleaning and quite a few things that are in need of repair.

Beautiful home with so many wonderful antiques and charming appointments. Spacious rooms. Large dining table with many chairs. So many places to gather. A delightful breezeway with ceiling fans and comfortable wicker chairs and loveseats. Many outdoor seating spots and a lovely front porch to gather. We loved the golf cart supplied to go out each night to dinner. Also, the wonderfully landscaped homes in the area were so much fun to drive by.
