As 2 young female travelers we felt safe and the neighborhood was vibrant. The tube was across the street which made getting around a breeze. Nice toiletries in the bathroom and good front desk service

Bathroom was exceptionally clean. Breakfast dining staff were very good. Room walls were a bit thin, and the interior could use an upgrade. One last point - the hotel needs to be a bit more flexible with respect to late checkouts.

I was in London for a weekend catch up with friends and wanted a decent, reasonable value hotel in the Gloucester Road area. The Montana fully delivered. Pleasant staff on reception, comfortable bed, surprisingly quiet room considering it faced onto Gloucester Road.

This hotel was very pleasant ,clean and the staff really proffessional .I enjoyed the two night we stayed there very much and would stay there again.Breakfast was the usual continental but of a high standard i thought .We wanted for nothing .

Comparing others in the same area, I was shocked with low hygiene level - hair on bed and tub for instance. I only stayed for an hour and left. They are far out of date and must refurbish soon.

An excellent choice near Knightsbridge.

Really nice check in team. Very professional and knowledgeable. The room was very nice. Very good condition and a good supply of tea and coffee. Very comfortable and clean bed. I will book again.

Good location, nice room, it said shared bathroom but my room had one inside and it was working (just the water pressure in the shower was low), the staff was very friendly and sweet, the elevator was the smallest one I’ve ever seen but it’s okay

If you stay here, avoid the restaurant

Nice property in a very nice location, close to shops, Underground, museums, restaurants, etc. But - if you do stay here, do not eat at their Light of India restaurant - service was brusque and the meal was expensive and sub-standard - worst we experienced during our extended stay in Europe.

Great transport

Comfortable hotel just over the road from Gloucester Road Station, so very convenient for getting around London. Attractive historic architecture & not over modernised & still retaining some lovely period details. The lift is fine, the rooms are clean & comfortable & the staff pleasant & helpful. Good continental breakfast, with wide selection of fruits, pastries, cereals etc. Delicious on site Indian Restaurant.

I wish i had made my reservation for the entire time i was in London! The only 2 issues i had at all was #1. Noise/traffic...there was a lot of road noise..because it sits right on the road! #2. I was a little warm in my room. Not too bad but the unit in the room would not cool down..or maybe i didn't know how to operate it? I would highly recommend this property. It is an old property but you do not expect perfect when it is that old. There were some minor issues but overall, a very pleasant stay. Harrods department store is just a few minutes walk..maybe 10. Other shopping is near also. The underground is just steps from the hotel which makes it very convenient.
