  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

We had a wonderful stay at this house on Lake George. The resort is well maintained with a lot of great features including two pools! Was a great price for a great house!

Great Stay

This house was perfect for our group of 8 adults in town for a long weekend. There was plenty of room for us and more if we wanted. House was clean, listing was accurate and location was perfect. Todd was very helpful with our many questions. Will book again for next year.

The house was clean, beds were very comfortable. Anytime I called the owner they responded quickly! Although it is a bit of a hike down to the lake, we managed with 3 toddlers and the kayaks were a big hit! Bonus for swings and ride on toys!

Wedding

I rented the house for a week to have a landing pad for my family and friends for my son's wedding nearby. Location was excellent although there is road noise at times. Pool is very close by and was nice. House is spacious! Furniture and decor is tired but for a summer place, it works just fine. We enjoyed the property.

Property is dated, stayed in house, master bedroom shower is very small and was not usable, a/c worked very well on 1st fl. but did not reach 2nd fl. Charcoal grill provided but a gas grill would have been more convenient. Size of home is great for large groups, family etc.

Nice property. Great location. Access to the lake on property . The owners were very nice and accommodating. House was very clean. 2 pools. Very relaxing. We will be back next year and maybe this winter . Thanks for a great vacation.
