"Wonderful hotel. Really couldn’t ask for anything more. Staff were excellent. La at reception was great. Very helpful. Gave us extra pillows & cushion for the bed as it was a bit hard. Rooms were super clean. 1 minute walk through beautiful grounds to the beach. Restaurant right on the beach. Excellent pool. Lounge chairs & umbrellas. Excellent restaurant. Right on beach. Walk the beach to many good restaurants and places to hang out. Absolutely wonderful place. We are planning another stay for a month. Loved it. "

"Great place to stay in Lamai. It is a bit of a walk to town (20min), but there are great places to have a meal or a drink nearby. The staff are awesome and the resort is well equipped. I had a peaceful stay and appreciated the overall quality of the resort. I was traveling solo, but could definitely say it would be a nice place to spend a romantic getaway. "

"An amazing place to stay! Beautiful house right on the beach. One self contained three bed house with huge bedrooms all ensuite as well as large living area and well equipped kitchen. Also two separate bedrooms with en-suites. All beautifully decorated and maintained. The pool is perfect and well maintained too. Always part in shade so ideal for kids and adults. Lovely decking areas with comfortable rocking chairs and table. Perfect for drinks with an amazing view. Location is perfect. Quiet yet access to restaurants within 5 mins walk. 10 mins along the beach to Amazon coffee and KOB with lovely food and homemade bread! We had a maid/housekeeper every day who cleaned the house and was happy to get shopping for us as well as take our laundry. Lovely lady and her husband looked after the grounds too. We had a fantastic two weeks family holiday there and would recommend to anyone!"

"Everything was great, a little dated, but not dramatically. Beautiful gardens everywhere adding privacy. Biggest issue was there are loads of stairs which could be an issue for older travellers like us!"

"If I could give more than a 5 star review I would!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🙌 Laura is the perfect host and her Guesthouse is incredible. Well furnished suites with air con and fridge freezer. We even had a walk in robe. They were cleaned every day.✔️ Amazing pool, beautiful teak pool loungers with padded base for comfort to lounge on during the day. Crystal clear pool.🏊‍♂️⛱️ We loved the peaceful quiet location and easy access to good cafes and restaurants. We came across Laura's Guesthouse purely by chance when we did a drop down search on the section and searching on recommended reviews. Laura's place did not disapppoint.✔️🙏 I also spent many hours on the poolside hammock. Laura was great advising us where to go and what to see and spoke very good English. For a little extra you can have home cooked breakfasts.Try out her home made pancakes - they're delicious.👌😉"

"The check in was horrible, as waited almost for an hour.. the place didn’t provide the comfort expected from this level of hotel. Difficult to find the room as there are no identifying marks, especially at night"
