Superb new Gasthaus in Kotka. The location is really convenient Gasthaus is located at the top of the hill within nice recidential area. City center and all key sights are within walking distance. The property is an old coast guard station and everything has been renovated honoring the history of the building. So, this is a sea themed Gasthaus were some of the rooms have private bathroom and others shared. There is also a large community kitchen that is fully equipped and perfect for making your own breakfast or even dinner, Great views, amazingly clean and easy to park. Highly recommended for a stay in Kotka

Ei oikeastaan hotelli vaan hostelli. Ei henkilökuntaa paikalla, koodilla pääsi sisään. Vessa ja suihku käytävällä. Hankala sijainti mäen päällä, omakotialueen läpi pääsi rantaan. Meluisa huone, kuorsaus kuului seinän läpi. Aamulla piti ottaa lakanat sängystä ja viedä roskat. Nyt majoitun samaan hintaan Holiday Club Vierumäellä!

Huonekuvauksessa ei mainita lainkaan, että huoneessa on vain jaettu wc+kylpyhuone. Tämä olisi ehdottomasti syytä lisätä kuvaukseen. Muuten hostellityyppiseksi majoitukseksi ok, aamupala hyvä ja maisemat yläkerran loungesta hienot.

Mukava vaihtoehto - Nice option

Mukava majoitusvaihtoehto. Huone oli siisti, yksinkertaisesti sisustettu ja omalla kylpyhuoneella. Minibaari-kokoinen jääkaappi oli hyvä lisä. Majatalo sijaitsee hyvässä ja rauhallisessa paikassa mäenhuipulla, josta on helppo lähteä kävellen kiertämään Kotkansaaren puistoja nähtävyyksiä. - Nice option for accommodation. The room was clean, simply decorated and it had a private bathroom. Minibar sized frigde was a nice addition. Guesthouse is located in a quiet place on top of a hill and from there it is really easy to walk around Kotka city to see the parks and do some sightseeing.

Todella siistit huoneet ja rauhallinen majoituspaikka. Huoneessa ei ollut ilmastointia, joten helteellä huone oli todella kuuma. Onneksi yöllä oli viileämpää ja huoneen ikkunan sai auki viilennystä varten. Upea ja rauhallinen ympäristö ja ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Lämpöisellä säällä huone on kuuma, vaikka käytössä on tuuletin. Televisio olisi plussaa. Itse oman huoneen siivoaminen (roskien vienti, lakanoiden poisto) mielestäni näillä hinnoilla pitäisi kuulua hintaan. Aamupalabuffet erittäin hyvä näin kesällä. Erittäin rauhallinen.

Hyvä sijainti. Kävellen pääsee 15 min keskustaan. Siistit huoneet ja kelpo aamiainen. Kaikista huoneista ei ole merinäköalaa. Bonus sijainnista näkötornin vieressä, jonne kannattaa kiivetä ihailemaan maisemia.

Positiivinen yllätys! Käytännön järjestelyt toimivat hienosti, ja saimme nukuttu hyvät unet. Aamupala oli erittäin hyvä: lapsille mieluisia olivat erityisesti vohvelit, joita sai paistaa itse, ja itse olin positiivisesti yllättynyt gluteenittomien tuotteiden tarjonnasta.
