Conveniently located between the beach road and the bypass road at Milepost 8.5 in central Kill Devil Hills, this bright and inviting 3 Bedroom Home is so comfortable, the entire family will enjoy. We are dog friendly, too! Book with full confidence as this is the spot to "Seas the Day" for your Outer Banks adventure. We are just a 5 to 8 minute walk to the Clark Street Beach Access so you can be dipping your toes in the sands and waters of the Atlantic in no time. If you prefer, we provide three beach cruiser bicycles to get to the beach even quicker! As you arrive to "Seas The Day", you'll notice a 6 person Hot Tub, bathroom, shower & Laundry Room with full washer/dryer, along with a beach caddy, beach chairs, along with other beach accessories needed to Seas The Day. You can also lounge the day away downstairs with a large hammock, picnic table and swing bench. Upstairs is the entry with large balcony, with 4 adirondack chairs & table, and another stairway to our crows nest, with seating for 4, for more outdoor relaxing with a sea breeze. As you enter the home, you'll be on island time with an inviting, open, bright & colorful Living Room with comfortable seating. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a dishwasher. You can dine up to 7 people with the table and breakfast bar seating. Each of the three bedrooms is equipped with a flat screen TV with cable, DVD player & ROKU sticks with high speed WIFI for your streaming needs. The master has its own bathroom with a queen sized bed, while the 2nd bedroom has its own deck with table/chairs and also has a queen sized bed. The third bedroom has a twin/double bunk bed. We also provide linen service for all bedrooms along with 2 towels and 2 washcloths per bedroom. The main bathroom with tub/shower is located in the hallway. A short walk across the bypass (there's even a stop light with pedestrian walk for safety) there is shopping and dining to explore. There you will find Slice Pizza, Outer Banks Brewing Station, Tres Tequilas Mexican kitchen, Captain Georges Seafood Buffet and many gift shops. You never have to get in the car for the beach, dining and entertainment! Look no further, your perfect Outer Banks getaway is upon you!

It was a great quiet areas close to the beach and a great burger joint. It was clean and just an all around great place for my son, mom, daughter, and myself for my daughter’s graduation.

Outer BNX in the spring

Enjoyed the weather (one day wind died enough to swim), hiked beaches and woodlands. Traveled from Kill Devil Hill to Ocracoke. Great seafood and time together.

Well appointed home with comfortable decks and living areas. Walking distance to many excellent restaurants. A little bit of a hike to the nearest public beach access (about 5 blocks) but not really a problem. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Relaxing Holiday

My daughter and I stayed along with her dog and we had a wonderful relaxing week. We were very comfortable in the house and there was plenty of room for us. The location is great. several restaurants within walking distance. I would stay here again definitely.

Lovely and convenient beach house

The beach house was lovely. The kitchen is well stocked, and there are beach chairs/sand toys downstairs in the laundry area, which was super helpful. Public beach access is very close, but we still drove because of all the stuff. I never had a problem finding parking. We were very close to grocery stores and restaurants.

Convenient location and close to everything

Wife and I stayed a week with our dog. House is well stocked with everything that you need. You can head to any of the nearby grocery stores if you want to cook for yourself. If not, there are plenty of eateries within walking distance to the house. Outdoor areas are perfect for relaxing outside. There are two beach access points within a short walk from the rental. The property owners a very responsive and helpful with any questions that may arise.

Wonderful stay in OBX

We had a wonderful week in the Outer Banks! This home is perfectly located to enjoy all the islands have to offer - excellent food options nearby (highly recommend Proof bakery, Biscuits N' Porn, Pigman's BBQ, Food Dudes Kitchen, and Village Pizza of Nags Head) and a short car ride to fun outdoor activities (Lost Colony, Jockey's Ridge, Ocracoke). The amenities at the home were a highlight - hot tub was great for the cool evenings and bikes were perfect for exploring nearby bike trail and getting to Nags Head Wood Preserve. Buffy and JT were amazing hosts! They were available to answer any questions we had during the week and sent us a great guide to the area just before our stay, with helpful tips and recommendations for food and fun. Thank you for a fun beach vacation. We'll be back!

Such a wonderful home in a great location!! 3 separate decks to relax on! Well maintained, clean and comfortable. Stocked with bikes, beach chairs and a handy cart for the short walk to beach. Jacuzzi was the cherry on top after long days at the surf. Walking distance to ice cream and restaurants. Can’t wait to book again fur next summer!

This rental was the perfect size for me and my teenagers (16 and 18) and our dog! Everything we could need was in the house! It was an excellent location and close to restaurants, the beach, and we were just a couple minutes from wright brothers national monument. We walked around the park every morning with our dog. The owners are superior and kind and checked in with me during the week to make sure things were okay! The rooftop deck was a favorite place for my morning coffee!

The cottage is in a great location, close to stores and restaurants. I would suggest driving to the beach access since it’s a bit of a walk, especially in the heat. Great area to bike ride in, as well. The hot tub was used each day. The outdoor space was perfect for corn hole and the washer toss game we brought with us. The decor in the cottage is cute and the dual deck areas give space to hang out in the evenings.

Nice House close to action

This house is great for the value. It’s a little farther than a 5 minute walk and didn’t have as many beach access roads as areas north of this house. We found if you drive about 1/2 mile to Farris Ave or Prospect Ave there are handicapped ramps to carry beach stuff to beach- the sand gets super hot! This house is centrally located to many restaurants, ice cream shops, and shopping areas. Buffy’s communication was top notch- when we had a small issue she was there to correct it. The property is pretty well maintained and unfortunately it was way too hot to enjoy the hot tub. The kitchen was also very well stocked with all necessities and we loved that the rental included a beach cart, laundry facilities, and beach chairs. I would definitely consider renting from Buffy again!

Everything was wonderful, the house, the description, and she even let us know it was prepared early and we could check in early. We truly enjoyed our stay and, with the rain, there was no problem relaxing at the house instead of going out a couple days.

Lovely house in a neighborhood that is close to many of our favorite places to shop and eat. Nice neighborhood to walk around. There's a beach access within a very reasonable walking distance. Hot tub was an extra added bonus to be able to use.

OBX- March Madness Getaway

Seas the Day was the perfect property for us to gather with friends and our fur babies to watch our favorite teams in the tournament. The beach was a short walk away and we enjoyed the amenities of the kitchen and the hot tub! The owners were great and very communicative. We will definitely look forward to coming again!

Great house, enjoyed the hot tub. House is Dog friendly so I could bring my fur baby. There’s a few restaurants nearby that are walking distance so this was a huge plus! House would definitely be a prime location during summertime.
