Clean room, very quiet, and the staff was exceptionally accomodating with excellent communication. Highly recommend for an affordable stay in New Jersey. Major plus was a three minute walk to the PATH train station we used to go to New York.
Paid an additional fee and park on site. Close to public transportation. Host was very communicative.Someone had taken our room but we switched to theirs and didnt seem to have any futher issues. Day of check out host moved the check out up one hour, so we left late but without any issue.

Great place for a couple on nights! Definitely very basic & a small area but perfect for my boyfriend & I. We came for the giants game, it was very easy to get from the game to back in the city, the station is a 5 min walk away!
We had a great stay here! Very easy process to check in, our host provided great instructions. The room was so clean, with a fridge and microwave, towels, and even shampoo/conditioner in case you forgot to pack. The location is so convenient, plenty of parking in the area if you drive. Super close to the PATH station and quick ride into the city. Cute and quiet building as well. We would love to stay here again if we come back to the city. Thank you!
The room was quaint, but looked exactly like the pictures and worked out for our stay. Water pressure and temperature were good, ac worked, wifi worked, location next to the PATH was perfect..
Very pleased with my stay! The two water bottles in the fridge were greatly appreciated. Also, the host was very responsive and I didn’t have any issues with check-in, which is always a fear of mine with VRBO’s. Would definitely recommend.
We flew to the NYC area to attend a family graduation. We were very close to mass transit and good coffee/bagels. The room was squeaky clean and we enjoyed the extreme quiet. Thanks.
Great little gem outside Manhattan and downtown riverside Jersey City. Relatively quiet street. Other guests were quiet, room is clean, wifi, a/c kickin, great resteratuers in walking distance. The staff was super helpful as well. I forgot my key when I went out for lunch, texted the host and was back inside in no time. Super responsive to my mistake. I would recommend the Magnolia House to family and I would stay there again.
