Beautiful home, quiet location, wonderful hosts

We booked this B&B based on previous excellent reviews and were not disappointed. The hosts are warm, gracious and very friendly. The house is lovely and located about 7 miles outside of Inverness, in a quiet country lane. Breakfast was great and a good start to the day. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Not many places nearby to have dinner unfortunately. Just a note: please double-check the directions that your satnav (GPS) gives you. Like some others here have mentioned, the satnav took us on a long 11 mile country road route to get to the B&B.

Belle situation au calme et proche du Loch Ness. Chambre correcte mais très long à avoir de l’eau chaude et un peu à l’étroit. Petit déjeuner servi tard, 8h30 et service un peu lent. Sinon accueil agréable et sympathique. Bon pub/restaurant à 5 min le Dores Inn.

Quiet getaway near Loch Ness

Antfield House is a lovely place to stay, comfortable, clean and friendly. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. My only complaint is the low water pressure in the shower. Local pub is a great place for a drink or dinner. Three nights was probably one night too many as it is a little remote.

Charming B&B just outside of Inverness

The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, and we liked the setting of the B&B in particular. It was just outside of the city center in a serene countryside great for taking walks. The only thing we had trouble with was that there was no air flow in our room, and after it rained it got quite muggy and humid/stagnant. To have air conditioning, or even just a portable fan, would have been amazing. Otherwise we quite enjoyed our stay, and the breakfast was also delicious!

Wir sind zum dritten Mal im Antfield House gewesen und es war sicher nicht das letzte Mal! Angela und Neil sind einfach großartige Gastgeber und wir fühlen uns jedes Mal, als würden wir nach Hause kommen. Die Zimmer sind groß, sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet und das Frühstück ist das beste bisher, was ich in schottischen B&Bs bekommen habe. Danke :-)

Perfect stay!

The Antfield House is a little gem and the hosts are truly welcoming and eager to assist. Very clean and lovely decorated and the surroundings are lovely! Nearby is the restaurant Dores Inn right by the Loch Ness waterfront with great food. Don't miss either of them :-)

Back pain!!!!

I want to be very honest, I wish someone anyone would’ve warned us about the bed. Booked for 3 nights could only tolerate 2. I travel a lot and can not afford to throw out my back, I had to leave after day 2, other than the bed, the hosts were gracious it’s a very cute B&B! But they need to invest in a mattress for their bedroom we got!

We had a lovely time staying at Antfield house, Angela and Neal we soo welcoming, breakfasts were spot on too, i could not of found a better B&B in the area for sure, loved the fact they were just away from all the hustle and bustle of Inverness the other guests there too were very pleasant, we will be returning again more than once

Perfect place

Our stay at Antfield House was phenomenal! The location was perfect and the surrounding area was beautiful. We felt so welcome, the room was perfect and breakfast was delicious! I wish we could have stayed longer; we will be back.
