You can park your car on site free of charge. The accommodation is easy go get to not only by car, but also by train (it is 160 metres to the train station). From here you can set off directly on walks, whether it is along the Rennsteig, to the Bobhütte, the Kickelhahn or the Goethehäuschen, or simply to the Thüringer Forest. It is just 500 metres to the town centre and 200 metres to Kaufland for shopping, and 500 metres to the university. It is about 80 metres to a very good and well-priced restaurant with a wide-ranging menu and there are many other restaurants in the town centre about 500 metres away.

The apartment is also suitable for guests with restricted mobility, as it is only two steps up. It has a big living and sleeping room with a box spring double bed and a sofa, an armchair, a small desk and a TV. Everything is in harmonious, warm colours and is charmingly decorated.
