The neighborhood: This Log Cabin is located in a historic area where the Colorado Gold Rush began over 150 years ago! Enjoy skiing in the winter and water rafting during the summer months. Try a hot mineral springs pool and a lap pool in a rec center a couple of miles away, and visit Red Rock Amphitheater for yoga classes, rock climbing, or summer concerts under the stars.
You’ll experience Idaho Springs' historic charm with the many historic buildings in downtown Idaho Springs. There are plenty of quality restaurants in Idaho Springs, including the popular Tommyknocker Brewery and Beau Jo's Colorado Style Pizza. All are affordable, as are area lodging and unique shopping. MTN Prime is another great eatery and is located next to The Guilded Fox. In this treasured store on Miner Street, you can find a variety of mountain goods and decor, as well as 3D layered mandalas handmade by the owner to ensure a unique fit for anyone. In town is the Argo Gold Mine and Mill, where you can see what a working mill looked like and try your hand at gold panning. And not far from town is the Phoenix Gold Mine, a working mine, where you can learn about modern and historical mining techniques and do a little gold panning yourself.
After a long day of playing tourist, enjoy the hot mineral waters of the springs for which the town is named. You can stay at the Indian Springs Resort lodge or just visit the geothermal springs and caves for a fitting end to your day. Mount Evans Adjacent to Idaho Springs, due west of Denver, is Mount Evans. The road to the peak is a 14-mile ascent on the highest paved road in North America, rising to 14,200 feet above sea level. Keep on the lookout, as mountain goats often graze alongside the highway. The summit sits atop the Mount Evans Scenic and Historic Byway. The cabin is close to local attractions and activities, including skiing, and snowboarding near Loveland Ski Resort.
There are plenty of exciting Summertime activities around, but a fan favorite for things to do in Idaho Springs in the summer has to be rafting. Clear Creek has some of the best rafting in the state, and Idaho Springs is home to it all. There are several great options for rafting companies to go with, and this is an activity that can be family-friendly or extreme!

This place was beautiful. Lots of space, a beautiful view and a great location close to town. I will definitely be staying there again when back in town.
Great property that my family stayed at for a wedding nearby. Should mention there are 2 pack and plays at the property that we didn't know about! Helpful for us with little ones. Theater room was a big hit!
Very nice and clean and extremely close to Blackstone river’s ranch which was great. I wish they offered an earlier check in. 4:00 is late and they weren’t flexible like I’ve experienced with other properties. The deck and hot tub are nice except for the road noise.
My family of 6 stayed here. Plenty of room. We enjoyed the hot tub and movie night in the cinema room. Easy to use instructions. House was clean. Location was 5 minute drive to town. Great restaurants downtown and shops for shopping. The house is close to the street so we did notice the traffic noise, if you have the house windows open. The rapid creek next to the house is awesome, but it was loud, especially when using the hot tub on the deck. Overall great house.
I would recommend this house!

Concert weekend
Nice stay for our group of 6 when we attended a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater.. Plenty of room for entertaining, well stocked kitchen. There were a ew supplies like coffee, sugar, paper towels, in stock. Nicely equipped bar. Hot tub next to the creek is a lovely touch. Newly built/furnished, tasteful decor.
Disappointed in the no early check in policy.
Poor vacuum job & hairball in the master shower.
Advertised price was a scam as the “fees” added doubled the cost.
Beautiful home in a great location. Just as described. We arrived during a snow storm which would have been lovely to experience in this well appointed home had we not had a schedule to keep with a wedding to attend. We wish we could have spent all 3 days in the hot tub, using the fire place and just viewing the beautiful setting.
Despite having AWD, driveway was difficult to manage with the amount of snow until we were able to get into town to get snow chains for the tires. Only one shovel, no salt and difficulty with communication via text, cell phone or internet to request snow removal so safe travels could be had was a bit precarious when attempting to keep a schedule. There is now a second shovel and salt was left for the next time there is a need.
Internet and cell service was not easy to access at the home and only until you get close to downtown is there consistent service(at least during the time we were there in a snow storm). Once communication was established for snow removal, the service did a great job.
We would love to go back and spend more time in the home, without the snow preferably, so different time of year. It was truly an easy check in/out, well equipped home in a beautiful setting.
Beautiful cabin with porch overlooking creek in mountains! Skylights look up to mountain peaks. 4 bedrooms with bunks in 1 room, plenty of space. Hot tub was great at end of day. Can’t rate skiing nearby because we didn’t ski this trip. Close enough to Denver and red rocks, relaxing Indian Hot Springs. Had everything we needed fkr a great get away. It is about 5 miles from town so secluded if that’s what you’re looking for.
Some of the dishes in the cupboards were dirty, one of the glasses had a chip on the rim. We put it behind the sink. There was mold in the downstairs shower.Other than these things everything was amazing!! We will definitely be back!!
Beautiful home close to Idaho Springs with lots of fun places nearby. We had a great time and found the host extremely responsive and helpful. Loved this place and would certainly stay there again!
Beautiful home and the creek in front is so soothing. Would definitely stay again. House was on the road to Mount Blue Sky which breathtaking! Thank you for a fantastic property!
Cabin was nice! Plenty of room for my family as we were here for daughter’s wedding at Echo Mountain. Loved the openness of the great room and kitchen! I would say the only down side was that shower heads need to be cleaned or replaced for better spray and the dishwasher door fell to the floor when opening. Small things that need attention. But overall we enjoyed this great space.
Great location just outside of Idaho Springs. Beautiful views and property! Communication with management company wasn’t great. Many messages went unanswered until immediately before trip. House is showing signs of wear and tear and some things should be replaced/updated. Large bedrooms and well laid out floor plan. Was perfect for our family of 5. Easy access to downtown Idaho Springs and all its restaurants and shops!
